The chefs, staff, and employees here generally work very long hours. This is a sign that they're comfortable working here, so it's no wonder their hospitality towards customers is so extraordinary. Even the chef has been the same since the early 1980s; their fried oxtail soup is incredible. Elmi = hospitality, comfort, cleanliness, deliciousness.

The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is always incredibly delicious. Even though the hotel is old, it's incredibly clean; there's no lingering odor in the room, and the AC is cold. And for a relatively affordable price, it comes with a bathtub. Honest review: the pool could probably be renovated to make it more attractive. Otherwise, it's great. The hotel's atmosphere is very serene, despite being located in the city center. All the staff are also friendly.

I really enjoyed staying here because it's close to everywhere, right in the city center. If you want to take the Surabaya bus, you can just cross the street and get to the bus stop. The breakfast was delicious, thank you.

Everything was fine, the cleanliness was excellent, the bathroom was also very clean, and the staff was friendly. However, the central air conditioning wasn't cooling anymore, probably at 25/26°F. Hopefully, this will be addressed.

I've frequently booked Elmi for business trips in Surabaya since 2018. Although it's an older hotel, the rooms are very well-maintained. The bathrooms are spotlessly clean and smell great, and the staff is very helpful, especially Ms. Elly at the front desk. Everyone is friendly, smiling, and professional.
