The profile on hotels.com was slightly inaccurate. There is no restaurant or bar, although the daily breakfast was great. The airport pickup is advertised as 200 per room but they actually charge 180 per person. But overall a lovely place in a perfect location, with great staff

Over priced hotel. No amenities in room and all services over priced. The hotel taxi from the airport was excessive compared to local rates. Pool was tiny and freezing cold. The plus: great location - 3 minute walk to the Jemaa el Fna market and walking distance to many sites - el badii Palace, badiaa, Koutub and great restaurants. And very safe area. Hotel was tucked away in an alley and was very quiet and peaceful at night. Night manager was very accommodating and helpful.

My wife and I had a great time in the Riad and it was great to have a place to go relax and cool between intense visit of the city. The staff is always nice and accommodating, ready to provide guidance/suggestions to visit the city. The Riad is beautiful and we really enjoyed staying at the pool on hot hours or on the roof when temperature were going down.

This riad (as they are called in Morocco) is insidie the Medina/souks area, which means it is not accessible by car. It's located on a narrow street, therefore if getting dropped of by taxi one gets dropped of at the nearest street accessible by car and then you must walk through the market/souks to find it down a narrow alley. Not great if you are carrying heavy luggage. It also does not feel safe late at night, so not great if you're a lone female traveller. Otherwise it is a beautiful riad. It is very peaceful and quiet once inside. Basic amenities. If you want a meal (lunch or dinner) must tell them a day in advance. No snack bar but souks and shops nearby, can go and buy a snack if you speak French or Arabic, or hotel staff can fetch you a bottled drink.

Wonderful experience! I was a sole female traveller and the staff really looked after me well. Organised my transport, guide, helped with advise etc. The hotel is so well located very close to the main square and yet quite. It is an oasis of calm and relaxation. I will be returning for sure.

They went out of their way to make sure we had the best stay possible for the week. Helped us get from the airport, found us places to see, helped coordinate with scheduled tours and more. I would give them 10 stars if I could, very highly recommended.

The riad was a great, cozy spot that served as a home away from home during a hectic work trip. The staff were always available if I needed anything, and they were extremely friendly and polite. The food was delicious!

The riad was very well renovated and equipped for our stay. We reserved the suite with a double bed and two singles, which are two separate areas (each with a closing door) with a bathroom in the middle. The decorations were very nice and made the riad experience enjoyable. Breakfast was included and consisted of various bread items, yogurt, orange juice, and coffee/tea. The staff made check in and check out very easy and we're willing to accommodate us in any way possible. I stayed at a different riad shortly after this one in another city, and I would say that Bougainvilliers was comparatively better in experience, room size, and service. I would definitely recommend this riad to others, especially the suite if you are looking for three beds. One tip--the ground floor was a little noisy on the first night, so you should request and upper floor or close your wooden shutters.

was asked to stay in this hotel for a week after a complication with a previous hotel and it was honestly the best decision. The hotel was not far from tourist attractions, only a 10 minute walk from Jema al fna, less than an hour from ourika valley etc. The staff were so helpful and friendly which made our stay pleasurable. We will definitely be coming here again soon!

We had a great experience here! The Riad is an oasis of calm and quiet in the midst of the souk in the central Medina. They provide a very personalized experience. Meals and a hammam can be arranged there to de-stress from the excitement and action of daily activities. It was our incredible luck that Amal was there to greet us on our first day. The name Amal means "grace" and she personified this in her welcoming and helpful service. Her recommendations were spot on from the souk restaurant to the belly dancing show in the new Medina. If it's your first time in Marakkech, this riad is about a 10 minute walk into a busy souk. It can feel a little intimidating at first, but it's a great way to immerse yourself in all that Marakkech has to offer.

The hotel is very nice, the staff is tremendus, they will give all to be as confortable as posible. But being at Marrakesh is a experience that you must be aware of. Staying inside the medina is also something you might consider, is not for everybody. the hotel is in some "creepy" streets that you might feel unconfortable or unsafe to walk there at night the taxis will not be able to get you near the hotel and you will need to walk to get to the hotel maybe a 5 minutes walk, remember to CALL AND ARRANGE to be picked up by the hotel to avoid more problems

Had a lovely 5 night stay in Marrakech. This is beautiful Riad. The staff were very helpful. It was a little too cold to use the pool but it did look lovely. We used the hammam and had a massage which was perfect towards the end of our trip.

Really great spot, located off one of main busy thoroughfares but a quiet secluded side street. Staff are great, friendly and helpful. It was my first time in Marrakech and city initially took me by surprise. If you're going with family and not concerned about budget, would probably recommend you stay in one of the fancier locations outside the city walls as the place and pushy people can be a bit overwhelming. Looking back, I would have probably stayed outside the city walls in the Meridien or Mamounia and popped into the city walls but the Bouganvilliersis a great spot if you can handle tHe hustle and bustle of the city. Get a guide and have him show you around, esp the Souks as you will be set upon by aggr.essive merchants and others (mostly younger men with too much time on their hands trying to befriend you and have them show you around) breakfast at hotel was good, staff very attentive , wifi connection spotty. Overall a good spot, clean and beautiful small well run Riad if you want to be close to the mayhem (yet down narrow side street where you do feel once you're inside hotel away from it all as it will get overwhelming at first.
