All the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the property is up a flight of stairs and behing a secure door which made it quiet and away from street noise and the extra doors made it feel safe. The main patio area adds that extra bit of charm and character to the property. The only downsides me and my husband felt would have been the bed and shower, we always find it hard to find comfortable beds on holidays so we expected a bit of uncomfortablity and the shower was a bit small and the shower head was a bit broken but we made it work. Overall those were small things to us and we really enjoyed staying here. It was very close and walkable to alot of major sites and amazing restaurants. Would recommend staying here

Owner was very helpful, from transportation to providing detailed information on key places to visit in the area, with directions/map on how to get to them. Walking distance to wonderful shopping, dining, bars, local markets, historical sites and more. Highly recommend.

The suite was amazing and larger than many appartments I have lived in. It was very clean and fresh smelling with separate bedroom, lounge area and private WC (with separate bidet) / shower / wash basin. The lounge and bedrrom each had their own small balconies looking on to an enclosed courtyard. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bit if noise from within building as hotel is part of a block of houses from what I coyld work out, but quietened diwn later in the evening. Very handy for the mai railway and bus stations which are basically just across the road and around the corner. The airport buses drop off and leave from there. There is a small Todis supermarket close by and a larger Lidl suprrmarket in the nearby main thoroughfare Via Roma. Also very central for visiting the main sights in the historic centre. As mentioned in other reviews, surrounding area is a bit tatty and dirty with litter everywhere, but from what I could see that applies everywhere in Palermo.

I was very unhappy with this hotel. Aside from the packet croissants served each morning as breakfast, there's very little worth mention. Yes, that really what I think. The friendliness of 1 staff on days he feels like it does not make up for poor Wifi, lack of working amenities (the 2 fridges provided do not work, none of the ac/ventilation system work making for stuffy days and fly infested nights, I had to clean the bathroom myself 3days into our stay as it had mould, the towel I used to clean it wss so dirty, house keeping not provided on Monday because apparently it was a holiday, if only we took a holiday from paying!!, we always had to ask for loo roll and had to buy on the last day as there was no staff in the hotel, 1 TV did not work, cups could not be provided for us to make our own tea, so we got 2 cups to share between 5 people, the sofa arm was broken, the shower drainage was bad, I reported but they ignored it). On the last day, they brought out what looked like dry left over parma ham for breakfast. I simply skipped breakfast last 2 days I suppose this was just a quick easter earner for them while we house watched. Either keep your B&B running and functional or close it. I asked my niece (aged 8) and nephew (aged 10) what they thought about the hotel and they said they could never recommend it. P.S. I left my phone in the room and called same day...Apparently it was not in the room!! I'm not saying they stole it but be sure to pack again and again.

This hotel is a great value for the money. It is clean, centrally located, easy to find, and very quiet. Our room was very large, with a separate sitting area, and a balcony overlooking an inner courtyard garden. The caretakers are nice and gracious, and speak English. Breakfast was adequate.

We have to change our schedule because the luggage Storage won't available between 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm (because no staff attendance). Imagine we have to use the google translation to communicate with the hotel staff

The hotel is located only 2 minutes from the main train station and bus terminal which was handy, however, the area is a bit dodgy in the evening. It is closed to the city's main market. The bathroom was a huge disappointment as the shower cubicle was very small, the shower curtain is so thin and plastic. There was no soap, no shower gel nothing. I would expect those amenities when I pay £50 per night. No wonder there's no picture of the shower on the website. Overall I do not see value in the money I paid.

Good communication with Ali from the reception - he was prompt and helpful. The b&b has very good location - 5 mins to the train station and 10 to the main street (via Emmanuelle).

We were welcomed, given a map with lots of information regarding what to see within walking distance. The room was quiet, clean and very comfortable with plenty of room. Breakfast needs a little improvement.

As we only stayed at the Art Lincoln for one night, arriving at about 2.00pm and departing the following day at 08.15, we can only give an account of short short stay. We were welcomed by an English speaking host who provided us with a map of the area and suggestions of sight to see. Payment for the stay was taken on arrival an we were shown to our room, which was spacious and well presented. We were informed that breakfast started at 08.30, which we thought was rather late, so as we were travelling to the airport in the morning we asked if breakfast could be arranged for 08.00. The host said that she would enquire whether this would be possible and she later informed us that we could be served early. However at 08.05, no one had arrived to prepare breakfast. A few minutes later, a lady arrived who didn't seem to be aware of our request and as as we would have had to wait for a proper breakfast to be arranged, we decided to leave, catch the airport bus and have breakfast there. We booked at the Art Lincoln as it had a good location for the airport bus, however, now knowing that the bus makes at least 4 other stops in Palermo , we would have looked at other B&Bs on the route route as well. The B&B is in an older area of Palermo in which you need to keep an awareness of your surroundings.

Clean room in a shabby district close to everything in Palermo. Breakfast cost extra and the city tax was more than announced during the reservation.
