My stay at Hotel Hemezius was such a beautiful and pleasant experience. My husband and I stayed for his birthday and although only for 2 nights, it was an amazing experience. The view of the Matterhorn from our room was incredible! The staff were friendly and easily reachable. They even worked with me via email to decorate our room as a surprise for my husband just the way I imagined. The hotel restaurant was excellent, we had breakfast and dinner there and it was so delicious. The Airport shuttle was reliable and the Red Line bus was so convenient to get around the city. A beautiful experience indeed.

The hotel is a gem in Zermatt. We had a wonderful room and it’s a little ways from the center of town in a quiet section with a perfect view of the Matterhorn. It’s great for families and the staff is very friendly! We will be back.

A family run hotel with terrific views of the Matterhorn. Electric shuttle picked us up and dropped us off at the train station on arrival/departure. A free local bus allowed access to downtown but service ended at about 7:30PM and the walk back would be pretty uphill and take half an hour. Alternatively taxis are available but we were told they can be quite expensive. We were able to ski out and ski most of the way back. Beginner skiers would struggle to do so. The hotel has a restaurant and there are a couple others you can walk to from the hotel. The room was modern but quite small. It had a coffee/tea service which was nice. The balcony had a Matterhorn view. We booked our stay to include the morning breakfast. I would recommend this as there aren't a lot of nearby alternatives. The breakfast buffet offered a nice selection of options and the staff was very nice. There is a ski storage room to safely leave your gear over night. There is a spa building but we only did a single hot tub which we found to be a bit lukewarm. You can book spa treatments and massages, but we didn't do any so I can't speak to the quality or price. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

fantastic 7 night ski trip. A bit far from town, but excellent access to ski out/in if there is snow. Stores in town close at 7 and so does the spa, so plan accordingly. We had a fantastic apré ski every day in the patio. Breakfast was fantastic. And all of the staff are absolutely wonderful. The room is slightly small for seven nights, But the ski locker room lended some help. We cannot wait to return!!

Fantastic stay. Staff and room was fantastic. Just one thing to note that as we warm our food in the room, it triggers the smoke detector. Luckily we were informed and assisted at the right time where we open the windows to allow the chilly air to come in, hence no major issue. And was advised if we should need warm our food, to head to recept area a d the staff will be more than happy to assist us.

The hotel was perfect. 10 minute walk to gondola. 30 minute walk into town. Spa right outside our door. View of Matterhorn from our window. Staff friendly. Perfect for us.

It’s quiet since it’s away from the town. Bus is provided so it’s not an issue. The view of the Matterhorn is amazing.

Lovely place to stay but be warned it involves a bit of a walk up hill back - probably asking too much of young kids and tough on skiers.

Amazing hotel! Great view, great staff, great room and lots to do in the local area. I highly recommend this place to anybody that’s traveling with family members, small kids.

This place a jewel, close enough to walk to the train station and center city. The grounds are amazing, spacious and relaxing with a clear view of the Matterhorn. I did not try the spa, but other patrons had great things to say. The best part of the stay was the staff! They are the friendliest in Europe, no exaggeration. Three ladies were key standouts (from Spain, Germany and New York)! The breakfast was good and the cocktails from the bar even better. Just remember that if you plan to have dinner there, they really want you to make a reservation, and the food is good. We booked a room for 3, and the pullout bed turned into a bunk bed. The room was a very comfortable size for a basic room at the hotel. We will go back! This is my first ever review, and this hotel deserves it!!!
