This is called gambling, don't copy me, guys. So I booked anyway, even though I'd read reviews on social media. Initially, I assumed the renovation project would be completed in August, so there wouldn't be much noise and workers milling around, since it had been so long since the project started. When I arrived, it turned out there were no workers and no noise, but building materials were still scattered around. When I asked the security guard who also doubled as a parking attendant, he said, "I don't know how long the renovations will be finished, sir." So, it's best to think twice before booking here. The only advantage is that it's located in the CFD area and the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout. The disadvantages? So many. Here they are:
1. Parking is cramped (love your vehicle), and you have to pay 10,000 Rupiah to the security guard. I asked the official information desk about this fee, and they said, "That's the rule from management, sis," but I didn't see any written rules in the parking lot or on the information desk. Fishy.
2. Check-in requires a 250,000 Rupiah cash deposit. There's also a 10,000 Rupiah admin fee. Luckily, I could still access the FO lobby, so I didn't have a deposit, just put my driver's license as collateral.
3. The lobby was hot and humid because it didn't have air conditioning. It looked shabby because it was right next to the staff changing room.
4. The sound of the leak in the room was clear; even the splashing sound from the bathroom could be heard from behind the door. It was a mess.
5. There were small cockroaches in the bathroom.
6. The room size wasn't worth the price. Amenities were very limited (1 sachet of coffee, 3 tea bags, 1 sachet of sugar, no water 😆). I had to bring water from outside. I didn't even brew it because I couldn't bear it. I wasn't given slippers.
7. The bed was really noisy.
8. The breakfast menu wasn't extensive, and the water was strange, like refillable water.
Just stay here once. Thank you, I won't be back 🙏🏻
