I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple of times and it never ceases to surprise me. I flew in very late at night and was checked in very quickly and effectively. The location is also superb, sitting between walking distance of Old Town and the train station.

Clean room, very convenient area.

Very quiet, but a bit of an adventure to get to room. Had to switch elevators to get to room on 4th floor, which was a bit of a hassle, and the place is obviously a number of buildings put together, so a bit of a maze as well. That said, room are quiet and beds comfortable. A bit longer walk from train station than I expected, but do-able. All in all, would stay here again if ever in Vilnius.

Very good experience. Excellent breakfast buffet. Walking distance to touristy and historic places. Comfortable rooms.

I was extremely happy with my stay at the City Gate Hotel and impressed with the service. I arrived at the hotel 4 hours before check-in time but the room was ready and I was allowed to use it. I was exceedingly grateful for that as I had a long journey to Vilnius and was exhausted. I didn't book breakfast beforehand but was offered by the receptionist. The breakfast was excellent. The bottom line is: I could not ask for more!!!!

Great location and beautiful old building, but the room was rather plain and dated, without even a coffee maker.

Lovely small hotel tucked away in a courtyard close to the Gates of Dawn. Early departure meant I declined breakfast. Old school key & magstrip card issued (perhaps they have problems with the cards wiping data?). No problems either way. Fridge in room and heated towel rack were a bonus. Would stay again.

A basic hotel that is in need of some TLC. Uncomfortable and very noisy beds, poor sound insulation and a noisy fridge - dated and shabby decor. A limited but ok breakfast. A convenient location but noisy. Reasonably priced so you perhaps get what you pay for.

No curtain or blinds in room had to use a blanket to cover window. Window did not open and vent in bathroom had plastic plastic over it. No ventilation Staff very nice

Pleasant stay for two nights - staff was friendly and competent - bed was hard spring type and English-language TV stations did not work, but wi-fi worked well

Great breakfast, and it is conveniently located near the old town. It's where I usually want to stay when I am in Vilnius.

Hotel is located in the Old Town area in Vilnuis and close to all historical attractive sites.

Very well situated, friendly staff, good breakfast. The electricity - plugs, switch on & off could be improved to make it more comfortable. The carpet is a bit old...

Great location, very clean, and very accessible.

I only stayed one night since I needed to take a flight the next day. The hotel is very comfortable and cozy, breakfast was good and the staff very kind. The room was very clean and had everything I needed.

Nice hotel. Clean and tidy and laid on a nice breakfast. No tea or coffee in the room which would’ve been nice. Didn’t see many staff members except at front desk - they were helpful but not very friendly. Hotel is in great location right near the Gates of Dawn and lots of bars and restaurants in walkable distance. In the whole a nice comfortable stay

First impressions are lasting memories. An old building modernized with pleasant atmosphere and comfort. Convenient location for business and pleasure. Kudos to Ana and the cleaning crew.
