The staff was very helpful when I asked them to come and clean the room. So far, all is okay and nice. Will come and stay here again with my family.

The environment was really good. It's easier for us to walk at Jonker Street.

Conveniently located near Jonker Street and historical sites, the room was spacious and good value for money. I stayed for two nights, but the room was not cleaned, so I had to request towel replacement and trash disposal. Unfortunately, breakfast was not available at the facility adjacent to the hotel. Due to weekend traffic restrictions, I was unable to find a nearby GRAB pickup point, so I had to walk along unfamiliar roads.

The location is absolutely the best. The room is also quite clean, spacious, and comfortable for that price. The public space is also comfortable. I saw a shared water dispenser and iron. If I go to Malacca again, I want to stay here again. The only downside is the noise from the pedicabs that play dar der dor music until around 12 am. But since my intention was to travel, not to rest, so it was okay for me.

You should pay attention to the bath towels you are given, don't use ones that are torn.

The room didn't seem well maintained. The wooden floor looked very dirty and covered in scratches. It definitely needed refinishing. The bathroom tile grout looked dirty. The shower jet in the closet suddenly broke in the early morning, spraying water all over the bathroom. There were very few TV channels and the broadcast quality was poor.

Good hotel if you want to explore around jonker/red church by foot. However if you want to explore around with car/bike search other hotels that provide parking and won’t be blocked by night market on the weekends

Stayed at Sunday Malacca (formerly Quayside). The hotel faces the Melaka Cruise and a lively night market, and it’s just a short walk to Jonker Street. The area is very happening, especially at night. Highly recommend this place — I’ll definitely come back again.

The balcony area is very suitable to have a relaxing sit and rest, the night view was very pretty. The staff was very friendly. They gave us (2 adult) free breakfast and just need to add RM10 for my 6yo kid. It was Saturday, the night market was started at about 5.30pm. Make sure to arrive before that time, otherwise no car is able to come. It is near the city center, many shopping malls, the Jonker, the night market, river cruise, and others are just on a walking distance. Very satisfying and pleasant staying at Quayside Hotel. Will sure to recommend to my friends who are going to Melaka.
