i would not recommend

Arrived late evening, and it was somewhat difficult to find the hotel, mainly due to Iquique having a lack of street signs, or those that existed where corroded and hard to read. Luckily had Apple iMaps on the iPhone. Parking was available, however it was across the road and through a padlocked gate, which is very difficult when unloading an 18 month old infant and a 6 year old child, both of whom were sleeping. The rooms were acceptable, but didn't have a bar fridge to keep baby food in, which was a bit unfortunate.

Only problem I found with this hotel was the noise from traffic. It was very hard to get a good nights sleep. Apart from that it was very good

Just needed a place to stay a night before continuing on my journey. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

The condition and manteinance of this hotel is ok, simple as any express but a very poor service does not have a reason to be the best description. I hope that they get better in some moment.

Romms clean but very small. Parking available crossing the street. Staff very helpful about touristic info. Easy walk to the beach and to Baquedano street.

Excellent breakfast buffet, super value for money considering this is a tourist area. Walking distance to beach. Ask for higher floor, not as noisy from road traffic. Air conditioned and WiFi, cable TV. Some desk staff speak English.

I was traveling through Iquique and needed a cheap place to stay for the night. This was the lowest price hotel on the website. They had free breakfast, free WIFI and free parking. The front desk staff were very nice and helped me lookup some info online about some of the places that I wanted to visit. The room was ordinary but nice enough.

The room was small but comfortable, clean and everything worked. Good value for the price. Not close to upscale restaurants but taxis are not expensive. The staff was helpful although their English was limited. The street noise was the biggest problem. Car radios sounded like they were just outside your window. Overall, good stay.

There were some problems like the reception woman giving us two times the wrong room number when checking in, the heater was dropping water to the carpet and we didn't have Internet access in the room. On the other hand, the room although is small, is very clean and the bathroom also. You have all that you need, shampoo, conditioner and soap. At the room, you get a water heater with tea, cafe and sugar to choice. The hotel is in a acceptable area, like 10 minutes walk to the principal avenue and 5 min to the malecon. The free breakfast buffet was ok, you had some types of bread, eggs, jam, cheese, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea, ect.

Sparks Express was more than I expected. After a long bus ride from Calama, it was the perfect hotel to sit back and relax in. It´s only a few blocks from the beach, the staff is incredibly helpful, and you can even walk to downtown (20 or so minutes). The rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is great as well.

NEGATIVES: couldn't swing a cat in the room it was so small, furnishings well worn, noisy portable heater/airconditioner, thin towels, bad pillows, very noisy neighbourhood, suspect parking across the road. POSITIVES: Plentiful bathroom toiletries, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. All-in-all good for the price for a night or two.

Buen hotel sus habitaciones cómodas

En general bien. En mi caso solo necesito in lugar donde dormir ya que uno pasa mas afuera que en el hotel. Yo iba con mis dos hijos y encontré inseguro las en ranas de las habitaciones se abrían con facilidad no existía seguro. Y lo otro que me llamó la atención que no tuvieran un frigibar para dejar alimentos personales y así no se descompuso eran.

Muy buena atención y el servicio excelente. El desayuno completo y en horario. Habitaciones impecables. Recomendable. Cerca de la playa cavancha.

Excelente hotel.. Es segunda vez que me hospedo en él, y las dos veces ha sido una buena experiencia.. La atención en la recepción es muy buena, al igual que la calidad de las habitaciones y del desayuno. Muy bueno todo!!

Hola. El hotel no tiene aire acondicionado como ofrecieron y es una zona de mucho calor. Ante nuestro reclamo nadie de gerencia se acercó a brindar una respuesta. El baño es enorme y no tiene sentido ya que esos metros le vendrían bien a la habitación.El pasillo no tiene ventilación y es un horno. En resumen, creo que no es bueno y debe estar gerenciado por alguien sin conocimientos.
