The staff was excellent to deal with. The rooms were very nice and well appointed. Super walkable and close to the trolleys. We would 100% stay there again.

Le Consulat hotel is excellent! The location is perfect, convenient to so much of Lisbon. Shopping, restaurants and transportation all are right nearby. Our room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the service was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Lisbon.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel and we love it. It is an older hotel, but the rooms are large and in the best area to get everywhere. Many placed to eat in walking distance and Tram 28 is in its front door.

This review may seem like it is one of contradictions. Let me first say, the rooms are gorgeous, very spacious, very European in look and super comfortable. The hotel appears to be a work in progress. It is striving for a 4 or 5 star but still has work to do in the areas of a lobby and a lounge for guests. Right now it is occupied by a large group of digital nomads who work there. Cables run everywhere across the floors, every seat taken and the furniture is worn out and looks like a collection of "goodwill" pieces. The public bathrooms were dark, smelly and in need of cleaning. The staff, though, are super friendly and very eager to please.

Nice hotel but definitely not a 4 star. Staff is very nice and responsive. It’s a small hotel and could stand to be better maintained. Hole in the wooden floor on second landing, furniture in rooms can use an upgrade. Wardrobe doors that don’t stay closed or off hinges. Cracked mirrors, wobbly chairs. Located in the city center - so close to a lot and trolley but VERY loud especially at night. The biggest drawback was that there is no one at the front desk from midnight to 8am. And zero security presence. Had no idea until being told at check in. Don’t believe that’s noted on the website or called out when booking. That’s a huge minus for us. Also the restaurant/lounge hosts events and people come in and out without showing key or signing in. Anyone can gain access to all floors anytime. When we arrived we were told our room wasn’t ready - but then were told if we paid 20 euros extra we can check in early. Not a great impression.

Location is great, lots of cafe and restaurant and very easy to walk to attractions.
