Super friendly staff great location and super quite rooms

We had a little hiccup with our room initially and the reception staff dealt with it immediately and decisively. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming nothing is too much trouble they make this a fabulous place to stay

Absolutely perfect location to visit Valetta, and the staff went above and beyond to make us happy. The breakfast is really nice too.

I recently stayed at the AX Saint John Hotel in Valletta, and it exceeded all my expectations. This beautifully modern hotel is not only well-built but also superbly insulated, ensuring a quiet and peaceful stay. The staff were incredible, offering exceptional friendliness and service. On my birthday, they surprised me with a lovely letter and a bottle of prosecco, making my stay even more special. The bathroom was immaculate, well-lit, and regularly serviced, adding to the comfort of my stay. The hotel's unique hydration stations – available in the room, just outside, and at the entrance – were a fantastic touch, ensuring I stayed refreshed throughout my visit. The continental breakfast was delicious and super filling, providing a great start to my day. One of the highlights was the detailed map and thorough explanation of places to visit in Valletta and across Malta provided by the staff. Their local insights were invaluable and truly enhanced my trip. In summary, the AX Saint John Hotel is a perfect blend of modern luxury and impeccable service. Whether you are visiting for a special occasion or just need a relaxing getaway, this hotel delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again. 10/10.

ideal for overnight stay before early flight home

This place is fantastic. Well placed for everything. Rooms extremely comfortable ( mine was 504) had its own balcony, the only one, and was nice to sit out. Not the best views but you can see the med and several nice spires. Staff are amazingly kind and helpful. This is not the cheapest but I feel is the best.

The hotel was lovely - small and quiet. It is a sister hotel to the AX Rosselli which covered the check in, check out and breakfast. The real stars of the stay were the staff. They were all so welcoming, professional and accommodating. Honestly, it is the top notch service which would encourage me to return.

Staff was excellent and helpful. Room was spacious. Area was way too noisy with blaring music. Breakfast was expensive and not worth the money. But very central to everything in Valletta.

Lovely and welcoming staff, beautiful property

This is a beautiful hotel. The concierge was amazing - we arrived late at night and he was watching for us! The room is wonderfully appointed - much more luxurious than we expected for this price. We wish we were staying longer instead of catching a cruise today.

Chic. Clean. Central. Safe. All I needed for a short break.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! I loved the decor, and the complimentary drinks on arrival. The staff was very pleasant. Also the surrounding area was perfect to get around and enjoy Valletta! Highly recommend

I very much enjoyed this hotel. The staff is very service-forward and helpful. It's quite lovely, the rooms are well-appointed and stylishly decorated. The location is fantastic. My only complaint was that the working condition of all electronic components in the rooms should be checked out - not all of the light switches worked and sometimes the tv would not turn on. But these are really minor complaints, as I would still choose to stay here again on a future visit to Valletta.

The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Our rental car fell through at the last minute and the hotel arranged for a car to be delivered to the hotel for us within a few hours. Breakfast was perfect. Highly recommend!

Staff was very helpful and attentive. Rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. Walls were a bit thin so you could hear your neighbors. Otherwise, everything was great and convenient.

Absolutely amazing stay at this hotel. All the staff were extremely approachable and very helpful. The hotel is also in the middle of Valletta and very well located for exploring by foot with a restaurants close by. The rooms were very modern, well equipped, well stocked and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and commend all the staff for a lovely stay.

Beautiful property and room, breakfast was delicious, the staff were very helpful and fulfilled our requirements as Vegan. Special shout out to Alan, Rizwin and Moul.
