The hotel is nicely located. Close to a metro station with good connections to Syntagma and Monastiraki squares. Room are spacious and comfortable and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. However, breakfast is very basic. The variety is poor and they do not seem to refill trays or gastronomes if they are empty. In addition the swimming pool is tiny and not so clean.

This is a good hotel, located next to a metro station which is very convenient, the staff is very friendly. The area is not very nice if you like to walk though is very close to nice areas.

Great stay, bed very comfortable and location is amazing right next to a main metro line. The use of the sister hotel opposite was a bonus- their bar has a great view of the acropolis!

Fantastic front-desk staff, who were very helpful in accommodating an early check-in for us as our flight landed at some ungodly hour. Room was clean and large. The only complaint is with the bellman in the lobby; who was aggressive, condescending, and rude. Walking around the lobby as though he owned the joint, grabbing bags out of hands and at one point telling me to "hurry up" and sighing loudly--very dramatic for a grown man. His colleagues looked mortified by his behaviour.

The Breakfast Included was of great variety. The room was noisy because it faced city traffic. The shower only had a half door, and the water ended up flooding the floor.

wyndham residneces is not the same as wyndham grand even though they are pooled together on booking websites, and it certainly was not a 5 star hotel as advertised; 3.5 stars at the very best. The gym and pool are very very basic. the grand has much better facilities that you can use however. The area around the hotel is not great at all, lots of homeless and migrants, rents in the area are as low as 300 euros a month for an apartment so be careful if you wonder in the side streets. Definitely over priced for what it is, and not a 5 star hotel. On the morning of my departure there was a taxi/uber strike and they didn't even bother to tell me, i had to scramble and go with the metro, and very nearly missed my flight! I would advise, stay elsewher in Athens.

The place is a straight up dump for $230 a night I expect a lot more. I am was absolutely shocked with how poorly the hotel was maintained and it looks like kind of an meh neighborhood after dark it gets pretty ghetto and sketchy.

Property is very close to public transport and bus tour stop is right outside which is useful. Pool is not a pool for swimming in, you can dip your feet at best. Breakfast options are ok, tables could be cleared quicker and food replenished more often. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean.

In all honesty, I’m seriously puzzled as to how this hotel is a 5 star?! Someone definitely got a brown envelope lol, so when we arrived we were put in a room on the second floor “with city view” which simple meant we were on the side of the road, however please don’t be fooled!! The hallway smelt like urine, The sound proofing was horrendous, there may aswell not have been a window or a door for that matter, also even after requesting a double bed was given a room with two singles, obviously after complaining we were moved (a day later as it was full). We were moved to the 5th floor which was a lot better, but the sound proofing again was a joke, there were loads of school kids there (which is apparently a regular occurrence) they were running up and down the corridors screaming till 4AM every day. The staff were very helpful however and the best part of the hotel, in fairness they tried to deal with all our issues as best they could, the funniest part was that our room was under the gym and when somebody was on the treadmill we could hear them running and the room was shaking. Also be warned parking is NOT free!!! It’s €15 euros a day which you pay to their “partner” hotel. The biggest issue however, was the bathroom smelt like Drainage, and when we forgot to shut the door the whole room smelt. It would go for a couple hours when they’d clean the room but it was horrible!! Honestly, I’d probably never stay here again, which I’m shocked to say about a 5star hotel.

Highly recommended. Complimentary bottle of water,red wine and desserts. Room safe. Toiletries. Good location to central railway station. Hopon hopoff stop in front of hotel

Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing and delicious with a wide selection of nutritious choices.

The staff was really helpful and the location is convenient to connect with the hop on hop off buses that take you to major sites in Athens. Would stay again if I’m ever in Athens!
