Our family stayed here because we had stayed here for a few nights a few years ago and were very satisfied with the service and facilities. However, things felt different when we returned a few days ago.
First, when we arrived, the sheets were covered in hair, the mattress was also very dirty, and there were even footprints or shoes on the blanket. It seemed like the sheets hadn't been changed by the previous customer. I tried calling the lobby by dialing 0 but couldn't get through, so I had to go down to complain in person. To my appreciative satisfaction, they replaced them immediately, and I found the process very quick.
Second, it turned out the hotel restaurant was now closed, so if we wanted to eat, we had to go outside. Luckily, there was a Family Mart, Kopi Kenangan, and Lawson downstairs. There are also quite a few eateries around the hotel, but if it rains, it becomes even more difficult.
Third, access to the pool and gym is also limited by an access card, which, according to the notice, can only be used once per day. Coincidentally, I only received one access card, and even that wasn't working, so I had to ask the staff to open it. The gym equipment needs careful attention, as it wasn't lubricated, so some of the equipment wasn't working optimally.
Overall, I can only give it a 6.5 out of 10, a stark contrast to my last stay. I probably won't be staying here again, as I can get better facilities elsewhere for the same price. Hopefully, they can improve further to avoid disappointing existing customers.
