Been there like two/three weeks ago for a 3-day business trip, the cleanliness and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. I was in a twin deluxe room, the room itself is spacious, the bathroom was OK, the water heater is working, and the bed is comfy.
One thing that kinda sucks when I was there is a 5.5 SR earthquake at 1 AM in Pacitan, there were no signs in the hotel nor the alarm that sounds. I was in shock after the bed was shaking and the room was trembling. I was on the 5th floor and suddenly joined the rest of the guests rushing to the emergency staircase, still there's no alarm rang (or is their procedure or something?). Several guests just gathered at the front lobby waiting for the info like is it already safe to get back to the room or not, but there isn't one. We just got back to our room by ourselves.
That's the only trauma that left when staying there, overall it's OK, again the staff is friendly, the food was OK, the room is quite comfy and etcetera. Hoped that one day they will be more serious with responding to the force majeure, thank you!
