All the hotel staff I encountered were extremely polite and friendly, the room amenities were quite complete, and the hotel and rooms were very clean. The hotel's strategic location also offers beautiful mountain views and sunrise views.

I really liked it and will be back. The direct view of the pool and the mountains is really beautiful.

A staycation at Hotel Aria Gajayana Malang felt like staying at a second home: quiet, cool, and strategically located in the city center. I stayed for one night in a Deluxe Room. The room was spacious, the bed was soft, the AC was cool, and it was very clean. The hotel's atmosphere was quiet from street noise even though it was in the middle of the city. Perfect for those who want a little healing but still easy to get around. The ambiance is classic Javanese-modern, with lots of wooden ornaments and a green garden in the middle of the hotel. So it feels cool and not stuffy. The facilities are complete: there is a large outdoor swimming pool, spa, small gym, meeting room, and an Instagrammable garden area. WiFi is fast throughout. The breakfast buffet is very varied. There are Indonesian dishes such as soto, pecel rice, and western dishes. The coffee is delicious and the desserts are not half-hearted. The hotel restaurant is also open until late for dinner, the portions are just right for a group. The staff is friendly and responsive. Check-in was fast, the bell helped with luggage, and when I asked for an extra pillow, it was immediately delivered. Feels served but still relaxed, not stiff. 1. Swimming pool + central garden: The most favorite place for afternoon photos. 2. Location: Walking distance to the Olympic Garden Mall. 3. Quiet atmosphere: Even though it is in the city center, the room is still quiet. Worth it for the price range of a 3-star hotel and above. With these facilities and location, the price is still reasonable compared to hotels in the same class in Malang. There are often promotions on OTAs too.

Overall, the room was comfortable, spacious, and cool with air conditioning. Breakfast was a bit lacking in variety, but adequate. The food was delicious. I booked three rooms at once.
