The hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are comfortable and spacious.

Initially, I looked at the ratings and reviews but didn't understand why. I didn't expect that even though it's a 2-star hotel, towels cost 10,000 rupiah per night. The elevator was under maintenance at 3 PM. When I checked in, I was given a room on the 2nd floor but wasn't offered luggage transport. I asked to move rooms and was told the room was full, but judging by the customers who came during national holidays, there were many empty rooms. The room doesn't have a smart key, although it's clean. The only advantage is that it's located on the roadside near Toko Oen, Queen Mall, and Lumpia Mbak Lien.

The hotel staff was less than friendly, but the others were good. The security guard was the friendliest.

Strategically located on Jalan Gajah Mada (city center), it's within walking distance to Johar Market for breakfast. At night, there are many satay vendors along the street. There are also several coffee shops nearby.

I like staying here because it must have been a great hotel in the past, judging by the interior and the beds. It's a bit dated, but I like it. It's comfortable, but the AC isn't cold enough :( but I'd stay here again because it's affordable and close to Semarang's malls.

The location is very strategic. There are plenty of trendy cafes nearby at night. It's just a short walk to Queen City Mall. If you want fast food, KFC is also nearby. Poncol Station is also very close. The hotel is clean.

I chose the cheapest room. It turned out to be a promotional rate, so I didn't get towels or mineral water.

Staying here for one night on a weekend is very affordable, and the prices are very competitive. Just a suggestion: if you're traveling with two people, consider adjusting the amenities like soap, toothbrushes, and slippers to the number of guests. Some people, like me, can't share personal items, even with a partner. What's even less convenient is the lack of a water heater in the room, only a thermos. While refillable water bottles are provided, they're located in a very inconvenient location, tucked away in the corner of a warehouse. A strategic location, such as in front of the customer elevator, would be ideal.

Although we only had the opportunity to stay at Quirin Hotel for one night, it was quite memorable. The hotel building is old, but clean and well-maintained. The room size is also quite spacious for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. Strategically located in the city center, at night it is very busy with many food vendors. My children and I even walked around at night from one end to the other on Jalan Gajah Mada because it was busy and curious to see what was going on. I really like older hotels like Quirin because they're well-built and sturdy, with spacious rooms and standard hotel furniture. At night, you can walk to Blok GM, where there's a wide selection of satay and coffee shops. It's also within walking distance of Queen City Mall and Toko Oen. The staff are friendly!! ❤️
