Yes, it's good, the only downside is that the front desk staff need to be friendlier, especially during the night shift, they look really tired. The restaurant is always top-notch, with excellent food and service.

This should be a 2-star hotel. The shower wasn't hot enough. The room wasn't tidied up anymore.

The service was very poor in the morning, and during breakfast, I was reprimanded by the breakfast staff. They said they didn't offer breakfast, so they went to their wife. The staff wasn't very attentive; we booked a hotel that offered breakfast from the start. Overall, I was disappointed. Even my friends from Malaysia shouldn't stay at the Batik Hotel, I was disappointed.

Usually will book this for a one night stay in Medan. The room was fine, but this time the breakfast could be improved as I stayed on Idul Fitri and the breakfast provided was lacking.

The downside was that I booked a room with a city view, but was given one without. Otherwise, everything was fine.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The first night I was given room 506, which was uninhabitable because the AC was completely non-functioning. Thanks to the AC technician who checked at 2 AM. He said there were no issues, but the AC wasn't cold. I couldn't sleep because it was incredibly hot. Thanks to the morning receptionist who upgraded us to room 502 the next morning and kindly handled our complaint. My advice: don't sell the room if it's uninhabitable. My first night I could only sleep after dawn and only slept for 3 hours because the room was hot and the AC didn't work.

As usual, everything was great. However, our room, 406, had a few things that needed fixing: the bathroom door was a bit broken, the TV had no sound, and there was no hot water dispenser on the 4th floor, so I had to go up to the 5th floor.
