Friendly hotel staff, strategic location near Magelang city center

It was a great stay at the beautiful Borobudur Hotel, the rooms were big, the staff were friendly, but because it was an old hotel there were lots of termites.

The room was damp. The sheets were stained with dirt. The bathroom was full of insects like fruit flies and dirty too. The plus point is the friendly receptionist and late checkout. The location is on a main road.

Not comfortable in the AC, please service all the ACs

The location is easy to find. The bathroom may be a bit lacking in cleanliness. The TV is still analog, so it only broadcasts three channels. A set-top box could be upgraded for in-room entertainment. Coffee and tea are provided. There's also an electric kettle. This may be because the hotel is old and seems poorly maintained. But overall, it's still a good place to stay. The AC works well.

The hotel is creepy even though it's close to the main road. Lots of statues. Very quiet.

Review of staying 1 night here. Oh yes, the shape of the building is L-shaped, similar to a 1-story boarding house, not a hotel in general. plus points: friendly staff minus points: the facilities are not commensurate with the price, at that price it's not worth it (got the price of 300k). AC trouble, no toiletries, no tissue, no coffee or tea making facilities, only tea and coffee sachets are provided without an electric kettle - but yesterday I could borrow one, the blanket is not thick enough because it's not a bed cover, the motorbike parking is a bit improper, oh yes, the TV only has 5 channels. basically, if you have ever stayed in a proper hotel at that price, you will definitely be surprised. hopefully it can be an improvement in the future.
