An unpleasant experience on Saturday (July 26, 2025) afternoon at the Amaris Hotel Citra Raya. That afternoon, my wife and I checked in to stay at the Amaris Hotel Citra Raya. I rested for about an hour, as our bodies needed rest. Because our house was being renovated, we decided to stay there in the hope of comfort. However, we were startled by the loud sound of a fire alarm (siren). This made us panic and startled. My wife was scared. I immediately checked outside the room. However, there was no sign of panic or any warning of any incident. I assumed the fire alarm or siren problem was resolved, and an hour later I tried to rest and relax. That afternoon, I took a shower, but then we were surprised by the power going out in the room twice, without any notification from the hotel staff. Finally, we decided to pack up and leave the hotel, without continuing our stay at the hotel because we were worried about a similar incident that night. When we asked the hotel staff about the incident, The female officer only apologized without explaining the standard operating procedures (SOP) for the two incidents.
We ask management to develop a proper SOP so that we, as consumers, are not disadvantaged by your unprofessional behavior. Thank you.
