I stayed at the Lifestyle Hotel Surabaya. Overall, the hotel was quite comfortable, but I had a less than pleasant experience with the food.
When I asked for an omelet, the staff member simply said, "Just a moment, sir." I waited quite a while, even after I finished eating, and the omelet still wasn't ready. I think the staff should have explained the reason for the wait, such as saying that the eggs were being picked first or that there was some other process that needed time.
If they had provided such an explanation, I would have been more understanding of the situation and less likely to assume negative things. Small communications like this are important for guests to feel appreciated and for the service to appear more professional.
