Whilst the staff were very friendly, helpful and I was able to check in early and take advantage of the free shuttle to the airport the next morning, the room only contained one very thin towel, no bath mat etc. The AC worked very well though. Outside the room people congregated and talked and smoked (which drifted into the room) till late at night. The hotel is situated in the muslim quarter of Tuban and as such I had to walk a kilometre to the Kuta area to find a place where I could buy a beer and have a decent meal. As a cheap overnight/transit hotel, it is fine. I normally stay at the nearby hotel but it is presently undergoing renovations to its bar and café area and is ridiculously expensive at the moment. I did not want to travel too far from the airport to the Kuta area because of the notorious traffic jams, hence booked this hotel. This hotel is now part of the R*dD**rz chain and needs to be brought up to the standards of that chain with regards to bed and bathroom linen and towels.
