It turned out the room had no windows (the glass was covered by stickers and curtains). No view. The staff was nice and friendly, and very helpful, but for that price, you can get a better hotel room.

A hotel with a very aesthetic lobby. The reception staff could have been friendlier and more responsive when explaining the deposit requirement. The bedroom and bathroom were just okay, except for the room size.

Found another hotel whose lobby area says 'inaugurated by the mayor of Malang'. But for Hotel Alimar, the facilities are better than the hotel in front of the town square :D. Everything is covered in plastic, it feels like going back to the Covid era, to ensure hygiene. Although the room I booked was not provided with a kettle, but we can ask the staff if we need hot water. The bathroom exhaust is also quite strong so it was cold after taking a shower :D. Overall, I was satisfied staying here with my family, but it would be better if there were other complementary facilities such as a gym and a swimming pool.

Room 511. It's conveniently located, less than a 10-minute walk to the town square, and the room was clean and well-maintained. During check-in, it was busy due to Eid al-Fitr, so check-in took about an hour. Overall, everything went well.

Comfortable and close to various culinary recommendations

This is our third year-end vacation in Malang in a row, and we always stay at the Alimar Hotel. The hotel is clean and comfortable, perfect for our family with small children. The hotel is also close to Pasar Besar and other shopping areas, and it's not too far to the Kajoetangan tourist area. The service and staff are also friendly, even when it's crowded. The location is okay in the city center, but the room cleanliness is lacking. The door handle inside the room had sticky red syrup spray when I checked in, and there was a spider's nest in the cupboard near the entrance.

Comfortable and quiet atmosphere

The room is a bit small. TV channels are limited. Wi-Fi is okay. The AC is cold. The bathroom has amenities, although only a toothbrush, liquid soap, bar soap, and liquid shampoo. There are also bath towels. There are two bottles of mineral water and drinking glasses, but there is no thermos for hot water, and there are no tea, coffee, or sugar sachets available. This is a star-rated hotel. By the way, every guest checking in will be asked for a IDR 20,000 deposit, which will be returned upon check-out.

Nice room, cozy room and really amazing staffs. So helpful. The room size is enough for 2 people. The vibes is really vintage and I love that. Feels like in home. So homeyy. Near with Kayutangan and many foods around here, many shop and malls. Recommend for your next staycation!

It's been our family's go-to choice for Christmas and New Year's holidays since 2022. Its strategic location, close to Pasar Besar and the town square, was a key consideration. The price is also reasonable compared to other major hotels.

Really enjoyed it from start to finish, really enjoyable. The only minus is 1, which is that you only get 1 room key so you have to be together if you want to go out to find fresh air and food. It's a bit of a wait in the room because you have to use your card to access the elevator, but otherwise it's comfortable, everyone is friendly, clean and fragrant, the AC works well. Thank you Hotel Alimar, will be back here again next year with my family
