Amaris Hotel Malioboro has a very strategic location. From the hotel, you can walk to Malioboro and the Jogja 0-KM Point, making it very convenient for exploring the city center.
The rooms are standard size, not too spacious and not too cramped. However, unfortunately, the walls are not soundproof at all. Sounds from neighboring rooms, even just conversations, can be heard quite clearly and can be quite disruptive during rest.
The bathroom is also not very large, but still adequate for a transit hotel.
It's quite unfortunate that when guests leave items behind, there's no information or confirmation. In terms of service, I think this needs to be addressed.
The check-in process was also quite long, taking about 30 minutes because the room wasn't ready, even though it wasn't a weekend. This significantly reduced the initial comfort of arrival.
Overall, this hotel is suitable for a short stay due to its very strategic location. However, improvements in service and room comfort are needed.
