Excellent, very classic, but the room didn't smell musty at all. It was clean. The check-in and check-out staff were efficient, quick, and answered questions fluently, offering good recommendations. The restaurant staff were lovely, friendly, and very cheerful, especially one of the female cashiers. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but everything was delicious and high-quality. The seafood congee had large chunks of seafood, the chicken soup was amazing – it felt like mom's cooking! The crispy noodle seafood dish lived up to its reputation. Excellent. I will definitely return.

While some might say the hotel is a bit dated, the charm is authentic. The reception desk staff were professional, and the housekeeping team was so friendly. They also have a really nice coffee machine that makes a great cup of coffee. The stay was fine overall, but there was one downside: during my stay, construction was going on that was so loud at one point I had to leave my room and sit in the lobby. Even though there was an announcement about it, you don't know about it when booking. Fortunately, it only happened for one day, and I still enjoyed my stay.

There was a free minibar in the lobby, and the automatic drinks were tasty. The Thai breakfast was simple but very delicious. The Chinese cabbage soup tasted just like what my mother made. The room is in an old-fashioned condition. The bathroom is not very well-maintained and has broken equipment.

The overall staying experience is great with some notes on bathroom water flow that is not effective (the water is not flowing out accordingly) and the lights are not that bright. However, it is still a great place to rest with easy access if you are planning to travel around the city.

It is located near the Sunday big retail market Chatuchak and easily to find food and restaurant. The hotel is OK, big room but old style. Don't expect to have international TV channels. It's all local. Breakfast is "so so" but OK for the price. I stayed 2 nights and meals were the same every morning.

Wi-Fi can't be used, the staff said that the whole 16-storey building can be used for 2 floors. Then why not release a room with wifi for customers?
