I couldn't locate the entrance at first and only notice the signboard above when I walked down the street again. The entrance is a turn in from the street. It might have been the setting up of tents and crowds queuing for their food. I was quite surprised to only notice that a Chinese temple is located across the street and the community are currently in preparing for the Veg Fest coming in a few days. This hotel is also at a very convenient location with 7E on the same street and the Old Market just walking distance only. Check-in is standard and you will have to drop your key in a prepared box when checking out. I arrived earlier before the stated time for check-in. I was prepared to wait a while but the people there are so friendly that they kept coming to attend to me and politely tell me that I have to wait a while. I suppose the person-in-charge is coming from somewhere else. The minute I got in my room, I desperately need to charge my phone and only discovered that the power points in Thailand is for 2-pin plug. How could I came unprepared! I rushed to the reception to ask where could I buy an adaptor nearby. I am so grateful for a lady to lend me hers! After I've charged enough, I decided to return the adaptor and go buy one myself. The person-in-charge was having her meal at the reception but still offered to bring me to the 7E to find the adaptor with me. I was so touched at that time even though we didn't manage to find one. Without giving up, the person-in-charge guided me to a mobile shop nearby and that 's where I finally found one. I am so thankful to have meet these people! I booked for Standard Double Room Queen. For the period I've booked, the Level 2 of the hotel was under renovation. So, the person-in-charge informed that my booking has been upgraded to Deluxe which is further away from the renovation area. This is a bonus. In my opinion, if they have the decision to renovate the hotel, the place of stay should be acceptable by most. Back to the time I was charging phone in my room, the air conditioner suddenly leaked. When I informed the issue to the person-in-charge, I can she that she was terribly sorry and quickly shifted me to a new room. As for the cleanliness, to be honest, it isn't the clean as new kind of hotel. But I am comfortable with it. Toilet is spacious, wooden flooring, no smell.

Due to the delayed flight, I called and asked to check in late at mid night. He accepted and also show us the room at lv3 with opened aircon. The room is better than I expected. Location is the best, easily to catch bus to chalong temple or the pier. A lot of food around there but I didn't have time to try. Will stay again for sure.

Love this hotel. This is my first time stayed here and the staff really friendly although they not really get it when we use English. Room was ok even no window there was good bright room and very strategic to our destiny when we join Phuket vegetarian festival.
