The room facilities are no longer good, just checked in and it turns out that the blanket was thin and torn (the contents of the blanket were visible), the mattress was no longer soft (sleeping really felt like the springs made it painful), the bed was dirty & there were cockroaches, it really didn't match the description, they said the hotel had just renovated all the new items, but it turned out that almost all the items in the room were damaged

The room was damp and dark, and the mattress was dirty and sagging. The bathroom door had no handle. I chose this place because they said they'd reopen and renovate it, but everything was old. Disappointed.

The receptionist was unfriendly. Busy playing on her phone even though guests were already piling up in the lobby. At least when a hotel isn't great, good service can cover up the bad. The bathroom, bed, sink, and even elevator were all shabby.

I chose this hotel because I saw reviews on various platforms mentioning that a sauna facility was available. Compared to other hotels with saunas, the price here was much cheaper and really stood out. However, I was very disappointed when I arrived at the hotel and asked the reception, only to find out that the spa and sauna services had already been discontinued for the past 3–4 years. I honestly don’t have any other reason to stay here. The room is a bit small, but it’s quite suitable for backpackers. The room I got also had cracks on the floor, and the towel provided had holes in it. All in all, if you just need a place to sleep, this hotel is very budget-friendly. But if you’re looking for a luxury stay or have high standards, this place is not suitable. Many guests seem to stay here mainly because of the cheap price.

The L Hotel failed on every level. Misleading listing, deteriorating facilities, and unlivable rooms made this stay unacceptable.

Honestly, I booked a hotel room because I saw the photos were good, but when I arrived, it turned out to be noooooo, there was a lot of mold on the walls, the room was also dim, the bathroom which I thought was bright turned out to be dim, my child was even afraid to enter the bathroom 🥲 In the end, I asked to change rooms, but it turned out to be possible because the AC was hot, but when I changed rooms, there were lots of cockroaches 😭

The mattress is bad, there is no foam. The sheets and blanket are dirty, the pillows are soft. The bathroom has no soap and is dirty. In short, the room is dirty.

If I'm from Karimun, I usually come to Batam and stay at The L Hotel because it's close to Nagoya and my work is also close🙏

The worst hotel I've ever encountered in Batam. No main lights, dim and very dirty bathroom lights, liquid soap is placed in an Aqua bottle, many furniture are broken and cracked, window curtains are broken so they can't be opened, hard, dirty mattress, no contactable contacts near the phone, no wifi, not worth it for the price of 250+ - very bad, 10x better RedDoorz, btw I got room 311. The vibes are horror, dim, no main lights, very bad, I say
