Located on the main road in Bandar Lampung city center, Astoria Hotel's location is very strategic. The room is neat and I like the calm colors of the room interior. The breakfast menu was also decent. However, the hotel did not allow foreigners to pay for an extra bed using a card, as the receptionist said they had never tried it and she was afraid it would pose an issue to the accounting system. I suggest the hotel review its card payment mechanism to provide ease for foreigners. Overall, the hotel provides facilities that are worth the price. Additional info: you can swim at the swimming pool in Grande Hotel across Astoria as both hotels are maintained by the same holding company.

Hotel in the city center with very affordable prices & quite good facilities.

Got room 211, the smallest suite (I know because I've stayed in suites at this hotel several times). The room was so noisy at night that my son didn't fall asleep until 1:00 AM because of the traffic noise (I got a room with a window but it wasn't soundproofed so the sound of vehicles, especially motorbikes, was loud at night). The breakfast was different from the other times I've stayed here, lacking in taste and variety in my opinion.

All staff are friendly. Highly recommended.
