The location is ok, although it might be a bit scary if you are walking back alone during late night. The price is reasonably cheap. The cleanliness is terrible. The AC makes a loud noise. The default for the bed linen is that it will not be changed unless requested, but staff didn't inform during the check-in, and there is no sign in the room to inform as well. In general, for a global franchise branding like this, it is kind of disappointing, plus high ratings on the booking app.

Good service, friendly workers, clean place, strategic location

The service was very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. I was lucky to get a corner room, which made it feel even bigger. I also requested a room with a view, and they accommodated it, which I really appreciated. The room was very clean, and they even provided a water dispenser (gallon), which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, making it easy to rest well. The location is also very strategic, right in the city center, making it convenient to get around. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Stayed there for one night and was amazed by how friendly the reception was. Jason was so friendly and very accommodating and met Mr. Paul who was very charming on duty. The room was super clean with very nice and clean linen as well as the towel, and I love how the pillow has a nice smell. I had a very good sleep, I believe because of it. And one small thing THAT I LOVE IS HOW CREATIVE THEY DO THE TISSUE... lovely to see it!

The location is very busy and congested during business hours/shop opening hours. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out took quite a while. The room was a bit dated but adequate for the price.

Breakfast was a bland, uninspiring choice. Food lukewarm when served. Bar fridge was not functional in Premier room. Cable TV with little to no quality English channels. King size bed had soft mattress. Room service excellent. Room decor excellent.

The Swiss Bel-hotel in Binondo was literally located in a poor, run-down area of China town, which when compared to many other Manila hotels, had poor taxi service. I used MOVE IT for transportation, as GRAB was unreliable. The hotel was an older style hotel, with solid construction. The decor was well appointed, but there were internal flaws, with obvious ceiling water damage in some of the hallways leading to room accommodation. The reviewed PREMIER room was almost faultless, but unfortunately the bar fridge was not functioning and was not replaced. The air-con worked well, the shower wasn’t as hot as would be expected in a hotel of comparable western standards. As a guest, the staff were attentive, friendly and supportive. The breakfast menu was not to western taste or standard. My room was quiet and peaceful. I felt at home, given these few issues away from home. Having experienced this hotel, I would still recommend it, given its location and few flaws, which could easily be addressed by management.

Hotel is good, location is perfect in the heart of Chinatown. Thank you to Sir Jayson that helped us to get early check-in and late check-out. We surely will stay at Swiss-Belhotel Bulane on our next visit.

the barhroom had a lot of mildew

I highly recommend this place for all solo travelers, especially women. It's very safe and conveniently located near historical sites. Overall, I'm really happy with my stay here! By the way, they also provide international adapters 😉

The mattress are worst which I can feel the springs that makes my back aches.

Honestly, this hotel is nice to stay in, quite a luxurious hotel located on a super congested and dirty street. However, why we gave it a score of one is that the hotel asked for a refund (around 650 pesos —> 200 thousand) for dirty bed sheets. Even though we didn't scribble/spill anything. A beautiful start but they tarnish it with a trumped-up 'cost' at the end. BTW we stayed at 1115-1117. And the mattress that was said to be 'stained' at 1117 was actually only occupied by 1 woman. It's even stranger because usually mothers are neat. So it's not a recommendation, unless you have to, please check the room first before checking in

The hotel is clean. The bathroom is also good. Comfortable. Standard Swiss Bellhotel. Just the location is not good.
