KL service suites is just a name given by the broadcaster. This "suite" and any other broadcasters who claim the apartments to be above Berjaya Times Square, are all part of Berjaya Times Square west tower. East tower mostly belong to hotel owner. I was suppose to get unit 23-22. Apparently you need to call the contact number in your booking to get in touch of the person appointed to guide you to your room. This guy who attended us, his name is Mohsin I think. Like a salesman, smartly he made build ups about how his upgraded us to an executive room as our room is not available. He gave us unit 43-03. It's was not even cleaned and he invited us in. We watched the room service clean up all the dirt. It was terrible. To add on, by midday, the lights suddenly went out, due to short circuit. One of the room lamps by the bedside don't work. The bath tub heater will not give you warm water if you turn the shower heater on. And the Bed sheets, and room sofas we're yellowish due to being so old. Very disgusting actually. The iron board has black burns and yellowish stains. We had a mini 3 pax birthday gathering planned to be in the room, was embarrassing. Next day, the guide came at our door at 10.30am and rang the door bell 20 times till I woke up and went to open to discover that he wanted the key card back so that he doesn't have to come back when we check out at 12pm. Disrupted our peace. But we wanted to make a simple request to check-out slightly later, so the guide told us, we can do that for 30RM per hour and this was not listed anywhere in the booking. But we had to extend so we did pay him that amount as we were left with no other choice because we don't have enough RM as well. The guide is very sly, be careful of what you tell him as he can use it to take more money out of you. He told us that we can contact him directly next time instead of going through company, and the same room will be 200RM, but that's ard SGD70+ and online, we paid only SGD43. So if your looking into booking the apartments here, just be ready to go through a lot of hassle services.
