Aakk love it!!! Next time I'll come back here again

We stayed at The Gunawarman for a one-night short getaway/babymoon, and overall, we had a great stay! We arrived around 2:00 PM, and although the official check-in time was at 3:00 PM, we were welcomed with a welcome drink and were able to wait comfortably at the Sofia area while waiting for our room to be ready. At exactly 3:00 PM, we were able to check in, so everything was right on time. We stayed in the White Classic Room overlooking Gunawarman Street. The room was beautiful, luxurious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The overall design and ambiance were also very elegant and cozy. Since our room faced the main road, I was initially a little concerned about the noise. However, I personally am not very sensitive to noise, so it didn't really bother me much, even at night. Breakfast was delicious! It wasn't a buffet, but we could choose from the breakfast menu. We also had the option to have breakfast delivered to our room, which was perfect for a relaxing morning. For couples, I think The Gunawarman is a great choice, especially for a short getaway or babymoon. However, for families with children, it might be less ideal since the hotel doesn't have a swimming pool or other family-oriented entertainment facilities. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The room, service, ambiance, and overall experience were lovely. Definitely a great option for a relaxing couple's getaway!

Totally worth the price! Only the breakfast options are limited.

Love all the interiors! Can't wait to come back & stay in another room type✨ The food was great. The downside is that there is a 500k deposit upon check-in and they don't accept debit cards, only cash/cc. The location is close to Jakarta's entertainment center. TOP!

I would like to request an early check-in for my reservation. Upon my arrival at 2:30 PM, the room I had reserved was not available. The receptionist informed me that an alternative room could be provided for an additional charge of 100,000.

Not suitable for families, don't... Only for business or to bring savings, haha. If the interior is okay, yeah... For those who are on vacation, don't come here... Especially if you bring children, family. Don't come here, guaranteed to move. And we ended up moving to the 5-star JW Marriott hotel. Seriously, this hotel needs to be organized for its service.

Friendly hotel for staycation at Jakarta SCBD area

The staff were polite and great, loving all the things about the hotel. Didn’t get the chance to take photos of the room but will definitely visit again and choose a bigger room.

If you’re looking for a place that feels depressing, this hotel is perfect. The atmosphere is dull and uncomfortable, and it barely feels like a hotel. It’s basically a bar. There is no swimming pool, and you have to check in and out at the bar desk. Also, the sound of the rain is extremely loud because the roof of the room is slanted. When it rains, it literally sounds like a water tap running above your head, and water even leaks from the ceiling. This makes it very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel at all, and I was honestly counting the hours until I could check out. Two stars only for the friendly staff and the location.

A wonderful boutique hotel, well-appointed and comfortable rooms, great dining at Sofia Restaurant with all menu options available for in-room dining. An easy walk to Ashta District 8 and SCBD. Helpful friendly staff too. Well recommended for a stay in Jakarta.

all is great, there's a little minus thou. the bathtub didn't sealed correctly so the water keep draining slowly even after I closed the drain.
