Let me list down the pros and cons of staying at jims castle inn: 1. Since it is located at coron town proper, it is very near the market, national road, restaurants and souvenir shops. You can either walk or take a tricycle and pay 15 pesos per head to go to these locations. My only problem is that you need to climb up in a very steep street going to jims. I don’t recommend this for children and senior citizens. 2. Staffs are nice. Although most of the times, the receptionist is not always present in the front desk during her working schedule. I’m not sure why. By the way, the front desk is only open from 6am - 9pm if i’m not mistaken. They offer free water, you can also pre-order breakfast meals. They can help you book tours and can help you get hotel/airport transfers. 3. Facilities are superb. All areas are clean. The room that we got is very big. We have our own kitchen with complete cooking sets and utensils, (this is the only coron hostel/b&b that I know who has kitchen) with stove, water heater, refrigerator!! Dining areas (we have 2 sets of dining tables and chairs, 1 in indoor and 1 in the balcony), bathroom (it’s clean, and it has shower and heater), it has a separate bedroom, the bed is so comfy. Ac is in great condition. Same with the electricity, it is stable. Wifi connection is not that good tho. Everything is great if only they add a television in the room, it would be perfect. 4. Accommodation price is very cheap. We only paid around 3,000 pesos for 3 nights. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at jims castle inn. :)
