It was not too bad. It's just not what I planned to pay for. I stayed in different places in Hoi An before and I expected the same quality. But this is disappointing. I remembered I chosed a room on higher floor with 2 beds and balcony listed on app, but when I got there it was balcony and 1 bed. May be it's my fault but it was tiredsome. We have to switch room to the first floor for 2 beds, but there's mosquitoes all the time because of the garden, and wifi and 4G are both weak there. The doors and windows are easily accessed by outsiders at this floor, so we have to close everything when sleeping and forced to use air conditioner or be super hot. March in Hoi An are best nights with natural winds and less bugs. Most homestay in Hoi An have free bicycles, but this place does not, you have to pay for renting one. It's not costly to rent a bicycle in Hoi An but I am disappointed too because I have good experiences before at other places. They have only 2 pieces of hand wash soap so you need to prepare your own shampoo and good quality body soap. The nice or right thing about the staying is: The view or the river is very nice, windy and sunny. Sitting on the phản at the welcome room in the afternoon is awesome. They have a nice front yard with nice pool, ok back garden. The staffs are very nice, friendly and helpful. They helped me a lot with my staying. But sometimes I am confused of what services I could ask for. I called days before getting there that I would need to borrow an iron, and they said yes. The day I need it they said they can't find it, may be some other customers borrowed it already, and give me no other solutions. I have to push hard 4 or 5 times for them to try to find out a way (suggested them to borrow from some locals, they are local anyway, and as far as I learned Hoi An locals are the best). Finally I can iron my dress but was half hour late for my event. Once I borrow a scissors and they gave me a dirty one, may be they used it to cut some food. I stated it and they asked me to wash it myself. It's fine I can wash it myself but it was confusing. My roommate asked for a new thinner blanket but it never comes (hers was super thick and furry it's itchy). I have to take my blanket inside part out to share with her the last night. Besides of these things, the help are nice. They gave me good advices, did good laundry everyday with good price and deliver on time. I can go back really late at night and let myself in easily too. Hot water are good. I can used the boiler to make my own tea. They have big full body mirror in the room. Room is clean. Pillows and blankets and table and closet are clean. Wc is clean. So it was fine after all. I am just confused with too many things that spoiled my experiences. With $18 a night for two beds the service should be better. I stayed in $22 a night for 3 beds before with pool, bathtub, free bicycles and perfect hotel services so I think this villa can do better to the standard of Hoi An.
