I had a really great time staying here. If I really had to pick an issue, it was the toilet paper holder position. It is so awkward and quite low and you have to hold the metal flap constantly so it’s quite annoying. Would be better and more hygienic too to have the toilet paper wrapped individually instead of it just being placed directly touching the toilet upper part. Everything else was lovely, staff were friendly and warm. The security guard outside of the lobby was also very helpful, he offered my dad some help with the suitcase as he is quite elderly. I will definitely be back soon!

Best cultural hotel in Indonesia

Fun, clean, comfortable.

It was a great stay at Plataran Borobudur, the serene atmosphere makes it comfortable. For the kids, there's a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor play areas, and a mini zoo. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mas Bimo, who accompanied our family while playing in the playground and mini zoo, even helping to capture our activities there (thank you Mas Bimo). We also received compliments in the form of room decorations and a birthday cake for our son's birthday. Thank you Plataran Borobudur.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel. It's strategically located near Borobudur Temple, offering a tranquil atmosphere and beautiful views typical of Magelang. My room was comfortable, clean, and spacious, designed with elegant Javanese touches. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, especially the pool area and rooftop, which offer stunning mountain views. Most impressive was the friendliness and professionalism of the entire hotel staff. From check-in to check-out, the service was warm and responsive. Breakfast also offered a wide variety of delicious dishes. Overall, Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel is a perfect choice for a vacation, staycation, or family trip. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again in the future. Plataran is truly a hidden gem! The lush green founder garden, the free yoga class, the accommodating and friendly staff, the clean room, the scrumptious breakfast and afternoon tea, the unbeatable location and scenery, and the various activities for kids and family are more than enough to make us return one day. I love the design and the interior of the hotel, good surroundings. But they need to improve their bicycle maintenance and provide helmets.

A very comfortable hotel, with very complete facilities, views & cool air & many photo spots, comfortable rooms and an addictive shuttle bus service to Resto 9 Langit, the friendliness of the driver who took us to the restaurant & afternoon tea service that can be ordered to be delivered to the room. A delicious breakfast menu made to order. Top markotop and you won't regret staying here & it's worth the price offered. For friends who want to try this is a very good hotel to try, coincidentally I got the info from a friend who often stays here when he goes to Magelang. Really cool!

This is my first stay at Plataran, and I am truly impressed. The hotel offers a great view, and the reception staff were friendly, providing fantastic service—especially the night service staff on 29 April (Naufal). The location is excellent and makes it very easy to get around. We were also warmly received by Boris and his team. Overall, the service throughout the hotel was outstanding. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We love it! That much! And we thank you for the superb service from the staff! Very helpful, they even saved my life by taking me to the Emergency Unit of the nearby hospitals in the middle of the night with a very fast response. Respect, and cheers for Plataran!
