I'm deeply disappointed with my recent stay at Rich Hotel in Danang, Vietnam. Despite the hotel 's assurances of providing a secure environment for guests, my experience was marred by a serious security breach that resulted in the theft of my brand-new GoPro 11 camera and its entire accessory kit. The incident occurred when I left my room key with the housekeeping staff to facilitate room cleaning. Unfortunately, the housekeeper then left the key unattended at the reception desk, where it was easily accessible to anyone passing by. This oversight allowed an unauthorized individual to take the key, gain access to my room on the 6th floor, and steal my valuable belongings while I was away. The lack of accountability and responsibility from the hotel staff is deeply concerning. Despite the housekeeper 's assistance in filing a police report, the hotel management failed to take proactive measures to address the security lapse or offer any meaningful resolution to the situation. As a result, I suffered a loss of approximately $ 500-$600 worth of equipment, all due to the negligence of the housekeeping staff and the hotel 's lack of proper security protocols. This experience has left me feeling incredibly vulnerable and frustrated. It 's unacceptable that such a simple oversight on the part of the hotel staff could lead to such a significant loss for a guest. As a traveler, security and safety are paramount, and it 's evident that Rich Hotel failed to uphold even the most basic standards in this regard. In light of this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Rich Hotel to other travelers. The hotel 's disregard for guest safety and lack of accountability in addressing security concerns are unacceptable. I strongly advise potential guests to exercise caution and consider alternative accommodation options in Danang.
