Overall Ratings & Reviews Sook cafe and hostel

This is my 1st time in Chiang Rai. Also in the north of Thailand for my single journey. I tried to find the nice hostels in the centre of Chiang Rai and that's hostel must locate near by night market, bus terminal or any entertainment facilities, where I can shopping and eating. I knew this hostel from my absolutely great friend from Chiang Rai. (she is a local people 😊). Finally I decided to booked this hostel and chose a mix dormitory (male and female). And that doesn't make me disappointed. I have been warmly welcomed and friendly by the hostel owner (I thought they're owner here), that's what makes me very impressed. You don't know which words can be describe. Look forward to seeing you again. 😘

Clean room, good service, reasonable price

The hostel is clean and equipped with toiletries. The receptionist is accommodating, friendly and communicates well in English.

The room is fragrant. Clean bathroom, friendly staff. Towels for rent 20 baht It is opposite the Night Bazaar. Very convenient. Recommend. Definitely going to stay again next time.

It is a hostel that is cheap, clean, good service and is near tourist attractions too.

I would like to feedback the female dorm locker no. 4 are totally unable to close. Tried with 3 persons also same. When feedback to owner, she said it is closeable. Wonder is the owner try on it and they should change a good condition locker as it is very important to me. And bed no.2 is without light bulb. Poor of me have to use handphone light. And booked another room for friend in male dorm, the aircond seems long time without services therefore not cold at all. Night at the bed is pretty hot. Second floor no place to hang clothes from outside. Only the location is perfect and owner is friendly.

The rooms are clean, fragrant, aroma, but want to improve the warm water and the number of bathrooms is a little less.

Comfortable Located opposite the cheap Night Bazaar. Staff are nice too. Recommended.

Everything is good (except) towels. Must pay for confusion !! Much 20 baht, not expensive But since sleeping at the hostel Here, the first place to pay is to rent towels. This price should include everything. Therefore deduct the points here and the waterlogged toilet is wet all the time Impressed. Staff very helpful. Service !!! The people below were talking so loud that they heard it in the room. Housekeepers come to clean even when it's not time to check out.

Customer service was very great. They are kind and cute. The room was clean. Share bathroom but all is suitable with this price. They have a lobby, living room and kitchen.
