I give a satisfying value in context compared to other (jasmine) class hotels in Waikabubak. Aloha hotel, in my opinion, is a kind of guesthouse in Java. The room I took was economy, basic room, no TV, no fan, no air conditioning, squat toilet. The rooms are clean enough, there is a terrace directly into the courtyard which is nice for the bar outside. The Aloha hotel rooms are a mess with a courtyard, not terraced, enough air to flow. This is the strength of Aloha compared to other hotels or inns. Aloha also provides food (chinese food) even with a limited menu, but it is very good for me, especially fried rice. Food and beverage prices are very friendly too. Good food stalls in Waikablub are not widely available, Mini restaurant facilities in Aliha for me are very helpful. Delicious Padang stall and the only one in Waikabubak is in the market. It's located in the center of the city, only a few meters from the downtown square and about 5 minutes walk to the market. In front of the hotel there are also several grocery stalls that are quite complete. During June-August, the temperature in Sumba, Sabu, Alor, Natt, Bali and even Jakarta is cooler because Australia is winter, so there is no need for a room with air conditioning. Practically during the 12 days of traveling in Sumba, Sabu, Kupang and Alor AC in the room is rarely used because the temperature in the room is already very cold and often I use blankets or sweaters to get warm. Be in a relationship with another hotel that provides or helps provide motorbike rental. Aloha does not provide, so I had the quality to look for a rental motorbike, whereas initially I thought Aloha had access to a rented motorbike. Waiters at Aloha are very friendly and kind but shy.
