When I stay at a hotel, the first thing I pay attention to is the cleanliness of the bathroom/toilet. In Manandang for the hotel room at the back (looks like a new building/additional) the bathroom/toilet is clean, the water is also smooth, I feel comfortable staying. Especially because the hotel staff are all friendly, polite and quite alert to serve guest requests. 🥰. I had unpleasant experiences in two hotels located in provincial capitals. At that time I stayed at the first hotel and checked in for 2 days, but I only slept one night because the bathroom/toilet wasn't clean, the shower didn't work and the bathroom was really cramped. As a result tomorrow morning I moved hotels. At the second hotel the service was quite friendly, but the bathroom was also not clean enough, instead there were cockroaches, and the toilet was clogged 😞. What made me compare Manandang with the two hotels earlier, because in Manandang I got a room at 550/night, and I was comfortable staying there, at the two hotels that I mentioned earlier, I stayed in a room at 650/night for the first hotel and 550/night for the second hotel (after moving). The point is, staying at Manandang makes me more comfortable, compared to staying at two hotels that are quite famous (and both are strategically located in Kupang City). Btw, regarding breakfast at Manandang, in my opinion it is quite standard, but I still feel comfortable staying there. Hope my long review is helpful enough. The room was quite dusty. I got leeches and insects in the bathroom. The hot water did not work. The internet connectivity was very poor that I had to go to the lobby just to get the adequate reception. The food was taking forever to cook. The staff will just check on guests like 3-4 times a day, knocking your room door, which was inconvenient.

The service is good, in the hotel room there is an electric kettle, bottled drinking + sugar tea coffee is given every day, if you are confused about finding transportation to the airport they will prepare it at the right price. Only sometimes the wifi doesn't connect.

Overall the room is comfortable, only the bath towels are too small, the breakfast is delicious ❤

Very clean room, great water pressure and hot water in shower and even a shelf in shower! Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delivered to the room! Great experience! I would highly recommend!

Not so good food inedible and no one spoke English not even fresh fruit available , visa machine unavailable when they say it’s available , coffee and tea undrinkable but the worst thing is they would not accept we had a booking there so had to re book direct through them

I paid for VIP room. They gave us room no. 606 with no sign of VIP and the room does not look like a vip room. When we checked out, I found out that VIP room has a sign of VIP on the room key, mine did not have any sign of VIP on it. I did not bother myself to ask the staff who was not very friendly at all. Room 606 has 2 small towels, a wet and dirty bathmat and a very hard bed. The bed was so awful, not comfortable at all and it gave us only pain while we woke up. The staff was not friendly and very slow. I asked for a menu but I waited so long and decided to go to the restaurant by myself. It certainly the last time I will stay at Manandang Hotel and will not recommend my colleagues who travels to West Sumba.
