the ambience felt like a 5 star hotel. but if look closely, its more like a 3 or 4 star. maintenance is always the key for a hotel's success. my problems: 1) noisy aircond, not so cooling and the speed are all the same. 2) bathtub water outlet leaks. Such a waste of water. 3) power switch only two in the room

This hotel does not allow outside food into the premises. In this hotel, there are many delicious and varied foods that can be purchased from the hotel. Each room has a bathtub

⚠️ Guests are NOT allowed to bring their own food or drinks into the hotel. Even extra bottled water is charged, and all hotel dining options close early. We arrived late in the evening after a long trip and wanted to eat in the room, but everything was closed and outside food (even from a nearby convenience store) is forbidden. This policy is unreasonable and extremely inconvenient. The hotel is old and poorly maintained. Our room was not clean, and there were mushrooms growing out of the wall. The only positive point is the location near a shopping mall. I would never stay here again and do not recommend this hotel.

The carpet in the room was dirty. There were leftover Mamee snack pieces from the previous guest on the floor. I informed the receptionist and requested housekeeping to vacuum, but the scattered snacks were still there afterward. I ended up cleaning and checking the area myself to make sure my baby wouldn’t pick them up and eat them. The water heater in the shower wasn’t working, exactly as mentioned by other guests in their reviews. We had to shower with cold water. The toilet had an unpleasant smell. Overall cleanliness was disappointing. Positive Points: The staff at the dining area during breakfast were very friendly and efficient. The food was tasty, and although the selection wasn’t very large, it was satisfying.

Initially got a room that smelled mold and musty so asked to change. Got a comfortable room and upgraded after the blackout. Will repeat again because it is comfortable and close to the City Center. Can walk to outside restaurants too

The hotel is good, but it might be old so there is a lot of moss in the bathroom. Besides paying through the application, we will be charged another 25 ringgit for 2 nights... There are not many choices for breakfast.

Book for my wife since she went to service her case. Upon check in the room is not very clean..The bath tub drain cover is missing, ask for receptionist three times, and they said they will send maintenance guy.Need to wait for three hours, finally need to go down to reception and luckily can change the room.If u looking for good hotel in Alor Setar kindly choose another hotel.NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL image show black spore in hotel room

A little disappointed with the check-in process. Arrived at the counter around 12.30pm and requested to check in at 2pm but the reception informed that check-in could only be done at 3pm. I asked that if the room was available @2pm, please contact me again. Unfortunately, the receptionist did not even contact me until I arrived at 3.10pm. Check-in went smoothly but the 3pm check-in policy was not the same as the information stated on the card in the room. Overall experienced, Happy :-) Keep it up!

Very good hotel and very comfortable

The room is big and the hotel staff are friendly. The hotel is close to Aman Central and marts.

I dun understand why this hotel categorised as 4 star hotel. I booked two rooms for two nights.. It is so dirty here.

The room was dirty on the carpet, the bathtub didn't work properly, the bathroom was a little dirty.

I booked 1 night stay for business trip. Didn’t have high expectation on the room conditions as there are also bad reviews. To my surprise, the room was not dirty or smelly as per some other reviews. It was fine considering it’s not a new hotel. Although it looks abit run down but the room is spacious and bed is comfortable. With the price u paid it is value for money.

When I asked where the nearest mall was, the hotel staff kindly told me.

My room card declined and I couldn't get into the room after returning from the party at around 1.30 am. Luckily there were still staff downstairs and I was able to reactivate my room card. In addition, when I wanted to get my deposit back, the receipt had a different room number written on it and it wasn't the same as my room. I referred it back to the hotel staff and luckily there was no problem for me to get the money back. Hopefully this kind of thing won't happen again by the hotel. In addition, I hope the tiles and toilet tiles in the room can be polished again so that they look cleaner.

The staffing & locations perhaps is in a good rates of attending the guest but the facilities need to improve even we see many guests checked in during our stay.

Most terrible stay with smelly room like old furniture smell, carpet inside the room became hard maybe too old carpet, toilet bowl with clearly stain and leaking with discharge water inside the toilet bowl after flush, water tap pipe broken and water splash out. Disappointed
