My first stay at this hotel was pleasant. The staff were very friendly, but the breakfast staff were a bit less pleasant, constantly watching us eat. The facilities were very satisfactory: the air conditioning was cool, the mattress was clean, the room was quite spacious, and the hot and cold water was maintained. Some outside noises, such as people walking, were still audible, and there were mosquitoes in the room. The soundproofing might not be fixed soon, but the mosquitoes will probably be addressed soon. I stayed at Tris Hotel for 3 nights. Honestly, this hotel is a bit far from the city center. By the way, I don't know where the center of Semarang is, let's say the Lawang Sewu area, Kota Lama. The distance from the hotel to that area is about 3-4 km, maybe the motorcycle taxi fare is around 10k for one trip. The best thing about this hotel is, in front of many eateries, near Indomaret, Mixue, so don't worry about getting hungry. The staff is responsive and quick to respond. The only downside is honestly, the room I chose was very small, a bit difficult to pray in. But I realize it's a budget room, but it was really small. So I think the room I stayed in is not suitable for bringing children. Secondly, there were mosquitoes, I already told the manager, my room was also cleaned but for some reason there were still mosquitoes. If I could give stars with a comma, I would give it 4.7 and I will come back here again (maybe) ehehe.

The hotel staff was very nice, from the security to the receptionist. The room was clean, and the toilet was good. But it's a shame that for such a good hotel, the AC wasn't cold enough, so you'd sweat while sleeping. The TV wasn't a smart TV, and the channels were very outdated.

There are plenty of food stalls around the hotel. It's also close to the city center. Unfortunately, the room isn't soundproof, and there were cockroaches in it. It's best to spray the entire room, including the cracks, to eliminate any more roaches or other small creatures hiding there. The breakfast was quite good.
