A budget accommodation 10 meters into a small alley from the main road of Tawangmangu, (opposite the new resort hotel) with spacious and clean room facilities, twin beds with a queen size (very economical for 4 people without an additional bed), the bathroom is also very clean, there is hot water (a little tricky - turn on the hot water tap until the water starts to cool, turn it off, then turn it back on and the hot water will come out again). The manager is very friendly and kind. Although it doesn't provide food service, don't worry, there are 24-hour food stalls lined up less than 50 meters away (just choose). Grocery stores for just buying snacks, toiletries, etc. are also close by. A few hundred meters away there is a delicious meatball stall and a legendary rib soup stall). Although it doesn't face the scenery of Tawangmangu, this thumbs up cottage is very suitable for a budget stay while you spend time visiting tourist attractions in Tawangmangu. 👍

very friendly & fast service, hot water is smooth, it was not hot at first, but the room attendant WA immediately fixed it, comfortable strategic atmosphere, only the towels are small in size, can only be used to wipe the face, there is no toothbrush & toothpaste

At first I thought it was Pondok De jempol, but it turned out to be Pondok jempol. It is indeed under the same management but in a different location. My expectation was not that small for the room, the towels were also very small and a bit shabby. There were amenities but only a small soap. For that price, I think it's not worth it. Please fix the booking in the app because on the map it directs to Pondok De jempol, but it turns out the booking is for Pondok jempol.

During the peak season the hotel was quite good. The staffs are so friendly and helpful.

The place is clean, comfortable and spacious, the staff are friendly and polite, but the parking lot is minimalist. It's okay, recommended.

Special stay at Thumb Cottage

The room was not as ordered because the staff said they were full even though the menu said there were 2 rooms left. At first the hot water didn't work but it worked when I asked for it to be fixed and the bathroom light was hard to turn on. Hopefully it will be fixed.

The location is strategic, the place is clean, the bathroom is also good, the wifi is smooth.
