Friendly prices and close to the city center

The price was affordable for two large beds for four people, and the room was very spacious. However, the hotel itself was a bit dated compared to the photos. The staff was also less than friendly.

The rooms and bathrooms are quite clean. One of the advantages of this accommodation is its proximity to the city center and popular culinary spots in Singkawang. Almost all tourist and culinary destinations are within walking distance.

I've stayed at Grand Mandarin twice when I had business back to Skw... The hotel is okay, the room, bathroom & hotel area are clean, the location is strategic, quite close to the market so it's just a short walk there, potential customers will become regular customers every time they go to Skw 😁

A place we always go to when we're in Singkawang. It's affordable with comfortable and spacious rooms.

I stayed for three nights and was disappointed. The room was quite large, close to the city center. The service was rude (unfriendly), the towels were worn, the AC wasn't cold, the bathroom was dirty, and the room was full of ants. Resting was interrupted by the noisy odong odong (traditional music instrument). Improve the facilities and cleanliness, and the receptionist should be friendly so guests won't be put off coming back.

Suggestion...it's time to replace the bath towels with new ones, they're already dull and the threads are coming out. The hotel's location is strategic, close to the city center.

Overall, the service, ambiance, size, and location of the hotel were quite comfortable and worth it. However, the bedding is due for a facelift, as I've found several spots and stains on the sheets and pillowcases. The cleaning crew also needs to be equipped with a vacuum cleaner to prevent hair, sand, and other debris from being left on the bed after cleaning. Good luck, Grand Mandarin Hotel.

There were black ants in my room, so if I dropped food, I had to pick it up immediately. The bed and toilet were okay. The service was friendly, and the location was strategic.

I asked for an extra bed in this hotel. It turned out that only a mattress, dirty sheets and blankets were provided. Guests must ask for their rooms to be cleaned (before 2 pm) otherwise our rooms will not be cleaned.
