Regarding the room, it is clean but there are lots of mosquitoes, because the surrounding area is still in the forest. And the room has cracks so insects can enter. The bathroom, please, the sand and stone part inside is still a regular tile. Because at the bottom of the sand there are a lot of animals and it is a place for geckos to poop. Good review: It's good that the spot is quiet, but it's too quiet because the area is still forest. But good for sunrise view.

Staying at this villa is very pleasant and satisfying, the villa manager is very friendly, the waiter is kind. The villa is right by the beach and harbor, every morning you can watch the sunrise from the comfortable gazebo. I feel uncomfortable staying here. Bad service from the guards. Then lots of insects. There is no air conditioner for the standard price of 300. Clean water facilities were intentionally shut down from the hotel. Not worth it at that price. And the hotel guard is noisy when it's time to sleep. Story with a big voice. So that disturbing rest time. No breakfast. Even though we promised breakfast!

I had a great time at Marella Sunrise Bira. The bungalow was simple, but clean, comfy and cozy. With a hammock on the porch! - perfect for relaxing evenings accompanied by the sound of sea waves, which you can here from inside the bungalow as well. The place is run by a wonderful family, who made me feel there like at home. Lina, Fera and Ila are great cooks and their dinners were some of the best food I had in Indonesia. The only downside is the location, as it is not next to the beach. On the other hand, it's near the only supermarket and ATM in Bira, so if you don't mind walking a bit to the beach, it's fine.

Totally recommended place to stay!
