I chose this hotel despite its high price because of its strategic location, close to the harbor, shops, and market, and because it looked like the biggest in the Ba'a area. It turned out to be an expensive hotel with zero facilities. I stayed in a VIP room, priced at around 660,000 Rupiah per day for a 3-night stay. I chose the VIP room because it was quite spacious compared to the others. It turned out it was just the room, the other facilities were terrible. I thought for 660,000 Rupiah, I would at least get a decent breakfast, especially with a hotel that looked this big. It was a mistake not to check the reviews first when booking. I was shocked when I checked in to find out that breakfast was only boxed rice. I still thought positively that at least for a VIP, maybe at least mixed rice. The first day, breakfast was only white rice and fried chicken. The second day, it was fried rice and fried chicken that were a bit tough. I extended my stay for another day because I still had activities and paid directly at the hotel. On the third day, I didn't get breakfast because I was late going down to get it. It turned out that breakfast could only be taken until 9 am (because we were preparing to check out, we went down to get it at 9:45 because we thought that hotels usually serve breakfast until 10 am, especially since there would be boxed rice, which would be stocked according to the number of guests). The facilities were really not worth it. The hotel elevator was also old. For the mattress in the room, if two people slept together, if something moved on the side, everything would shake. The edge of the mattress was also slightly tilted to the outside, so we had to sleep slightly in the middle to avoid falling. It was more comfortable to sleep on the sofa that could be used as a sofa bed. Because we had a lot of activities, we were only able to return to the hotel at night. Hoping to have a hot shower, it turned out that the shower only had cold water at night even though it was left running for a long time (as instructed by the receptionist). It seemed that hot water was only available in the morning/afternoon. On the second day, at 10 am, we were surprised because an officer (whoever it was, a cleaning staff member) opened the door without knocking while we were still in the room.
