What was uncomfortable was that the day before, I had WhatsApped the hotel number requesting a king bed, but only had twin beds. I asked for help putting them together, but when I checked in at 9:00 PM, the beds hadn't been put together, so I had to wait even though it was already late.
I asked the HK team, and they said they had just received the information.
The breakfast food was terrible.
The soy sauce chicken side dish was cut into small pieces and disintegrated, just like the stewed chicken in the chicken noodle soup.
The pastry corner was empty for a long time and wasn't refilled (waffles, etc.), even though it was only 7:00 AM, and I sat in the restaurant until 8:00 AM.
The live cooking area was limited to the egg corner and fried foods, but the pastry chefs weren't paying attention.
The chicken rice was not tasty and was also empty for a long time, and refills were slow.
The toast could have been topped up with chocolate sprinkles, not just jam and butter.
My last stay at Fave Solo Baru was in 2017, and the breakfast was delicious and had a wider variety than it is now.
Overall, it was okay.
The security team at the valet parking lot was very friendly and helpful.
The check-in and check-out process was fast, but the request wasn't properly communicated to the Hong Kong team (last minute).
The cleanliness was good, the hotel's location is very strategic, close to everywhere, and the city view is great.
I hope the food can be improved, as it's very important for people to stay and choose breakfast at a hotel.
A little variety is not a problem, at least the taste and suitability of the food are top notch.
