Stay away. This is a trap. As soon as you book, they send an email warning that if you’re a light sleeper this might not be the right hotel — but this is misleading.
The noise is constant, and not because it’s a central location, but due to the hotel’s own operation: the restaurant, the bar, the kitchen. You hear kitchen noise, plates, bottles, elevators moving dishware from 7am until midnight.
The staff is very kind, but the problem is systemic. They moved us to another room and there is nowhere to escape the noise. Other guests were also moved, and still the frustration was widespread.
The hotel will probably reply here trying to deny or justify this, but if you read all the reviews, it’s a constant issue that’s impossible to deny.
We’re leaving with the feeling of having been misled. The hotel is very nice, but we came expecting a $300-per-night experience and we’re leaving upset, having missed the most important thing we came for: a room where you can actually sleep.
I’m attaching a photo of how they welcome you — with earplugs
