One of the best stays I ever had! They are good in every way. You should surely book this if you are in la fortuna

Clean and spacious rooms with a lovely view of the volcano from our balcony. The restaurant food was excellent and the waiting staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Great breakfast and grounds and room were well maintained.

Nice simple clean hotel! I really enjoyed sitting on the little patio outside my room to have a snack or have a drink. I looked at beautiful flowers in that setting. The staff are nice and helpful. Check-in was easy and pleasant. The best thing about this hotel is breakfast. You can choose from about 6 hot meals and you get a plate of fruit (or many plates) and coffee. They have an entirely vegan hot meal, which was great for us.

Loved our stay at this hotel! Room was immaculate with an excellent view of the volcano. Breakfast was good but the grounds were gorgeous. Driving up, you would never think it it was so nice inside!!

Monte Real is a pleasant little compound that offers rest amid the touristy hub of La Fortuna. The breakfast is good - and, like us, you'll probably see a sloth in the branches above if you look carefully enough - and the rooms are pleasant. The pool and frog garden offer diversions if you are tired of all the driving. A good place.

Great location, clean spacious rooms. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. We were able to book tours right at the hotel. Great value for the money.

Clean rooms close to town. Grounds have a tiny garden with wildlife. Onsite restaurant is nice.

Nice rooms

A nice convenient stay near the centre of La Fortuna. Easily walkable to shops and restaurants. Beds were comfy and clean and the staff were all very helpful. The restaurant for breakfast was in a lovely spot! The hotel feels a little dated but that had no impact on our comfort or experience.

A very comfortable and affordable stay. Rooms were clean, breakfast was nice, and the parking area was easy to use. I'd suggest this location if you would like an affordable place to sleep, but not necessarily somewhere to lounge all day (as the pool is very small).

Nice room to stay for a few days. Nothing fancy but conveniently located. There is a nice restaurant on the property as well.

I would absolutely recommend staying at this hotel. I felt incredibly safe, especially as a solo female traveller. The rooms are cleaned spotless every day, and the included breakfast is wonderful, special shout out to Carbin for providing excellent service. The pool area is intimate and the entire hotel is immersed within the rainforest with beautiful greenery everywhere and has a river flowing and garden attached to the property that served as a beautiful morning stroll for me. I would return if visiting La fortuna again. Thank you!

We spent 3 nights and we're delighted with the included breakfast, small pool and staff was very helpful, top notch cleanliness and very well maintained garden. Only thing maybe WiFi could be better but we had cell service. Definitely a good option that provides value for money.

Great location, just away from centre so quiet- but a very easy walk to get into centre for shops, restaurants etc…
