A great hotel on the outskirts of Thamel. Good breakfast and great staff. Restaurant food was descent and rooftop pool was nice but some of the pool decking could use some replacement. Towels available at the pool. The spa/massage options were well priced and good service. The laundry service I used for a few items was reasonably priced and items came back clean. The bedroom was large and bed decently comfortable. I would stay here again.

The hotel is located around 30min from the airport and conveniently in Thamel walking distance to many sights. Mulberry's staff were very courteous and helpful, especially Niraj. Breakfast is good and a great rooftop bar. Would recommend.

A lovely hotel located on the edge of Thamel with roof top pool and basic gym. Might be a bit tricky to find, esp with multiple entrance on both sides but worth it. A few minor things need attention like the pool deck but overall great hotel. The staff are extraordinarily nice and very kind and helpful. Even if things were lost in translation they still tried to help. I even watched the staff deal with obnoxious, demanding and rude guests at breakfast and dinner and I was amazed at how they took it in stride and still continued to help the over privileged guests. I’m afraid my response at being yelled at for waiting 2 mins to place an order after just sitting down or have patrons snap fingers at me to get my attention would have a different outcome. Very professional staff. 24 hr room service available, taxi service available, laundry service available, currency conversion into Nepalese Rupee available, wifi included, pool towels available and a spa with great services by the pool. A delicious breakfast buffet with egg station and coffee options on lobby level daily. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again anytime.

We stayed here before and after a trek for 5 nights in total. The staff were really friendly and helpful and let us leave our luggage. Location is perfect for exploring the Thamel area but tucked away. Comfy, spacious room with balcony and great pool area and view.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. Rundown: -Staff was incredibly friendly. Exceptional service from everyone. -Room: Not only did they accommodate an early check in, but I was upgraded to a jr suite and the room was AMAZING. Very spacious, great shower, separate bath tub, all amenities one could want. -Rooftop pool and bar are beautiful. -LOCATION! Right in the heart of the main tourist area—but on a side street so it is neither noisy nor crowded.

I liked my stay at Hotel Mulberry I went back a second time. Lovely and very helpful staff, large and comfortable room, and a great breakfast bar. Rooftop pool, bar and lounges very appealing. Super convenient to a ton of dining and shopping options, and just a 10 minute walk to Durbar Square. Great value, too. Strong recommend.

My favourite hotel - it’s always a pleasure to arrive at the Mulberry after a busy trip in India. I feel a sense of calm as soon as I walk through the door! The staff are lovely - especially Diya - breakfast is a calm affair, and the rooftop bar is a great place to sip a beer and eat a snack while the sun goes down. An airport pickup and drop off is available. The spa is also great.

It was lovely to return to the Mulberry after our time in Pokhara. The staff here are incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. We are very appreciative of the warmth and generosity we have experienced here. The location is very convenient, we enjoyed walking to local shops and restaurants during our stay.

Tastefully designed and furnished. An oasis just far away from the hustle of the city ( you can still hear the horns but softly). The walk to and from the hotel is a mini hike it is located on a hill and if your room is on the upper floors, add another mini hike as there is no elevator. And the view is fabulous - especially as the sun goes down. The dining is 5star and so are the prices. All in all a great place to stay ( if you are fit)

Great location if you want to experience old Kathmandu. Plenty of restaurants around. If you don’t mind walking 3-4 km in dusty Kathmandu then everything is walkable. WiFi was bad.

As I wrote last year in my first review of Hotel Mulberry, we again experienced clean rooms, excellent service from all staff, a quiet environment, and good food. The location excellent, within walking distance of tourist shops, local markets, and several interesting destinations. I travel to Nepal twice per year and plan to use Hotel Mulberry exclusively.

Because of the snowstorm in Seoul I was unable to get to Kathmandu. Through expedia I cancelled day to day depending on the situation in Korea. I paid an extra $10 per day to cancel on short notice. I am pretty sure that at least the last three cancelled days were covered. My understanding is that expedia was unsuccessful in speaking with the hotel management or was unsuccessful in doing so. I feel ripped off.

Excellent hotel for our requirements. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very large and comfortable. Location perfect. Tucked away in the back streets so lovely and quiet but all the hustle and bustle just around the corner. Many restaurants, shops and money changers. Recommended
