Loud street so had to keep window closed, which had good insulation so quiet but hot. (No AC or we couldn’t figure it out)

Overall the unit was quite nice. It was a very hot day and we needed air con, it didn’t work. When we asked they said there is none but there is a fan in the cupboard. That worked well. You just have to make sure that you go to the Bernina Hotel, 200 metres away, to check in.

It's great location close to everything. Located in a beautiful town. Overnight trip before heading back to Milan from glacier express. Our family room had great air-conditioning .

The location was convinient as per the Berina Express station and restaurants around but we were disappointed because the Air Con was not working and then there was no electricity for an hour and i was locked out because the card was not working due to the electricity. We had to walk to the reception for evrything as no one was picking the phone for things like AC, Iron which was at a different location. The reception guy said no Air Con on the first floor Suite rooms for which we paid almost $400.

The address is confusing, locals don’t even know the name of the hotel. Reception staff is nice, walked with us to the hotel itself which is about 2 blocks away from where we checked in, otherwise i would have not found it. Room is spacious but AC is broken. A window kept opening in the bathroom, broken too. Will not stay there again.

Unfortunately this property desperately needs an update. It is dark, dimly lit and stale smelling. The bathroom in particular needs a new basin top and a paint and the carpet needs replacing as it didn’t look very clean. There was an hole in the top sheet on the bed and an old blanket rather than a quilt. Around midnight there was a lot of noise from the street as bars closed around the apartment.

The property was in walking distance to the bus and train station which to me was a bonus. The room we got which was called the New York was nice and spacious. The only complaint; I have would be the lighting in the bathroom. It’s not bright enough. Other than that the price was not crazy expensive. Little bit of noise from the outside as the balcony door was not double paned and heard noise. We couldn’t figure out how to lower the extra closure on the balcony door. We arrived very late that evening so we just ignored. Overall Tirano is a nice place to visit and very nice people. Enjoyed our limited time.

Rooms were themed by country - fixtures and appointments. Japan was fabulous. Convenient and great value.

The design suites are a short walk from the main hotel but the advantage is they are larger rooms. Each one has a theme - ours was Egyptian. It wasn’t “over done”, just enough to make it interesting. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. We would stay again.

The only problem we encountered were the two young girls at front desk during check in. Were made to feel like we were a bother and the one young lady who walked us over to the suites walked way ahead of us and did not speak to us until we arrived and gave us our key at elevator door, telling us which floor, that was it. Went for buffet breakfast this morning and although we were the only ones in the restaurant, we only saw the waitress when she sat us and had to go find someone to ask for coffee

At first I was a little confused because no one had heard of the Design Suites but then a lady told me to go to this large hotel (pointing) and they could help me. The room I was staying in was at a different location in its own building behind security gates. The hostess was so gracious. Instead of telling me how to get there by walking she simply grabbed the key and said "let's walk together so I'm sure you find it and get in without any problems.,". So hospitable! My view was stunning and I was very close to the train and buses and the original town of Tirano. This was my favorite city of the whole vacation. There was easy access to plenty of restaurants and I had a superb rack of lamb! Safe city. Safe hotel. My room was Egyptian themed. I would stay there again and try the other uniquely designed rooms! Very nice.

The room was lovely, with plenty space for 3 of us. Check in person was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy, all super clean, plenty of towels etc. The only negative would be the lack of air con. It was really hot, particularly overnight. There was an electric fan we used in but it didn't really do much to relieve the heat which was a pity.

Great for an overnight stay to catch the train to Switzerland. The room was stuffy and the air conditioning didn’t work well. It was cool outside so we just opened the window and it was fine.
