It’s just an old building but pretty clean and beds were comfy. Staff super nice. Breakfast sub par.

Had a little trouble getting in with the keypad, but the attendant was there to help. Otherwise, the room was clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. Easy area to get around in for eating and shopping.

Very old hotel in downtown. Place to crash for the night at best. Clean bathrooms.

The TV didn't work, and the only place I could charge my phone was on the bathroom sink. The room smelled bad and it was obvious that it hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time. We probably won't stay at this place again. It's expensive for the poor quality.

Rooms were average, not too big and moderately clean. The motel is less expensive than the others in town and so was selected because of cost

The Keystone is well worth the money. There are no frills but it was more than ok for a one night stay. Actually, it was the best night of sleep I had on my entire vacation!

It’s fine as long as you are not expecting too much. It’s a bed to sleep in and bathroom to go in. No air conditioner. The folks that run it are nice and the breakfast is good. I would stay there again to save on cost. Thanks

It’s definitely an older building. Originally it was barracks for cleaning up after the Valdez oil spill so it is a unique structure. It was very clean, but it is definitely uniquely Alaskan. The rooms are very small and cramped, but it was clean, comfortable, and the people were wonderful.

The Keystone is simply a place to sleep. The beds were comfy. It is old and run down, walls are paper thin. You can clearly hear people talkng next door. The staff were friendly and helpful.however. It appears the facility was built with sea containers

We had a magical time in Valdez. Staying at the Keystone was just part of the adventure! Yes it’s old, and rundown but it was clean, water was hot and staff was great! I’d stay here again.

Its a hotel converted by shipping containers. The rooms are enough, no ac and if you want cooler you have to open the window but then you have to deal with traffic noises. Not all outlets work. They also provide a Alaska resident rate but you need to call them and make the reservation over the phone. I bring my boys here to fish so it fits our needs and will stay here again.

Old building, thin walls (not framed like a normal building). Don't expect luxury. But clean and sufficient place to sleep.

Keystone Hotel is an affordable rather dated property in central Valdez. Rooms are very small, two beds, no desk, tv, small shelf to put suitcase on. There are tables in a large hallway where you can sit with a laptop. Breakfast was quite good…waffle machine, per-cooked eggs, sausage, cereals, fresh fruit and bagels or bread to toast. Very popular, was packed when we were there in late August. Walls are thin. Bathroom basic but adequate.

Continental breakfast was a joke. All bread ! No eggs. Bacon. Sausage or anything ! The tub filled up with water while showering and there seems to not be a maintenance employee. And the counter employee didn’t have anything to put in it. The mattress needs replaced. Felt like I was sleeping in a taco shell of a mattress.

Small clean room, good parking, staff was helpful when we asked for something to be fixed in the room. Overall stay was good.
