Lovely, helpful, personable staff, caring service from absolutely everyone, any time of the day, anyhting I needed. Something you definately can not get in big, chain hotels. The village is delightfully oldy wordly. Close proximity to Oxford make it a perfect alternative to staying in Oxford even if you have something to do or attend in Oxford. For non drivers, there is a frequent, reliable service from the bypass, just outside the village, a short walk through this beautiful village.

Superb hotel, staff very friendly and the room was spacious. Excellent shower too. Really good choices for breakfast, all freshly cooked and included in the price.

This was a lovely place to stay, and very good value with breakfast included. Dorchester on Thames is a very quiet village on the edge of the Cotswolds - something you may well appreciate if you venture into the tourist hotspots! All the staff were brilliant and really helpful. Breakfast was outstanding and cooked to order (with plenty of cereal, fruit, yoghurt and preserves available too.) Room was a really good size, comfortable (if perhaps a little frayed around the edges) Decent food in the restaurant and some lovely ales in the bar. Oh, and free parking (in their car park and on the street outside) Beware though if you’re rather tall like me…people were a bit shorter in the 17th century and you’ll need to remember to duck!!

The room was clean and comfortable, and our night’s sleep was followed by a good breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and we were able to park in the hotel’s car park. Our stay was slightly spoiled though by music from a party downstairs which kept us awake until just after midnight. Not ideal.

Restaurant area nice, diner and breakfast was fine. Bedroom had faulty hair dryer, an obvious repaired crack in the basin, broken bathroom blind and generally needed an update

The room was tired, hair dryer didnt work, blind in bathroom was broken, No toiletries, just one tiny round of soap for 2 people for basin and shower. Untidy and unkept in parking area

The staff were excellent friendly helpful courteous. The hotel room was good and clean. I would suggest that a toilet brush is placed in the bathrooms.
