The property met our needs well. They gave excellent communication about our arrival questions eforehand. Things to be aware. It's down a very long drive so best use sat nav to locate the turning. There isn't a bar as far as we could tell. More guest house than hotel, which is fine. Its minimally staffed at the front desk so best to call ahead if youre arriving late. Bed was comfortable but the wooden frame projects at the corners and both myself and my wife bashed our shins! A word of warning at check-in woukd have been appreciated. Very good breakfast. The Jack in the Green gastro-pub is a very short drive away of you want an excellent dinner.

Lovely, comfortable accommodation in a beautiful location. Near enough to walk into Cranbrook, which suited us very well. We didnt have the breakfasts, as we needed to be out quite early

The Breakfast was Wonderful. Beautiful Hotel and Lovely garden and Grounds. So Peaceful. You couldn't ask for more. Will be Definitely going back real soon. One of the best. The beds were extremely comfortable.

A comfortable room for an overnight stay with a tasty breakfast. Stayed here as close to Exeter airport and were able, at an extra reasonable cost, to leave car at hotel with a lift to and pick up from the airport which worked really well.

Our hostess was wonderful during our stay - friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities offering superb value for money . The aspect of the property was delightful - gorgeous views all round. Highlight was breakfast - delicious and cooked to order supplemented with wide range of cereal and fresh fruit.

Very clean with fresh, pleasant rooms and a great breakfast. Extremely quiet at night so a good nights sleep. Very freindly hosts.

Diane is a wonderful lady and very helpful. It is a gorgeous country estate and you will feel like a Queen.

Lovely host. Beautiful old building. Room was spotlessly clean and breakfast was good. It is not a boutique hotel but an old fashioned bed& breakfast which could do with updating.

Loved the room very homely. It had a lovely garden view.The breakfast was lovely too. Forgot it was near the airport until a few planes flew over early in the morning.

Quiet, relaxed, beautiful surroundings

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area around the grounds was littered with old machinery and scrap materials which made it a bit unsightly. The room was quite dusty with a few spiderwebs etc. The bed and bathroom were clean and stocked well.

Friendly, good value for money. Slightly scruffy especially exterior and grounds.
