Fantastic property located in the center of old Cartagena. Beautiful rooms. Very nice colonial style design. Finally, just outstanding helpful and very pleasant and friendly staff. Susana on the reception desk was amazing. Jean Pier who works at the pool bar was very friendly. Highly recommended place for everyone

I had a wonderful stay here. Though it was for a short time, my party of two was throughly taken care of from beginning to end. Jorge, the night manager, made sure any questions were answered about the hotel or surrounding areas--what was available to us, what was safe, what would be entertaining, etc. He was always kind, bright, and helpful. The hotel staff were always polite and warm, as well. We had the first room on the first floor, which was concerning to me, at first, due to the music that plays. I am a very light sleeper. However, though the room wasn't soundproof to the music or people in the lobby or open seating area, it did a great job of blocking out the sounds and I slept very well throughout each night. My friend enjoyed the breakfast and sitting areas to study. I enjoyed the comfortable beds and spacious shower with excellent hot water. The rooms are a little dim for me, but overall the soft lighting helps keep you relaxed once you return indoors from the hustle and bustle of the nearby streets of the Walled City. Money exchanges are nearby with great rates; bars and restaurants are all aorund; souvenirs are easy to get close by; Great location! It is largely due to Hotel Casa del Gobernador that I had such a warm and seamless welcome into Cartagena, and that I felt safe and like I had family looking out for me if anything were to ever occur (nothing did and I never once felt as it would, btw, but it's nice to have support whenever traveling abroad).

Not great for singles.... in room visitors not allowed...otherwise a decent place to stay

Stayed here a couple nights. Upon arrival was greeted and checked in briefly. Me and wife were given a nice cool drink with popsicle. I love how private it felt compared to another hotel I stayed at. The place has a pool with Dj playing some nice tunes feid, Xmas, salsa. I love it here oh breakfast was included and really good as well

Beautiful boutique hotel. Surpassed our expectations on this trip. Excellent service and staff. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were also very nice. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. My favorite part was trying the different local fruits each morning.

The location of the property was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was made to order and tasted amazing. The pool was quiet and a nice spot to relax with great bar service.

What a beautiful boutique hotel. It use to be the property of a governor in the 1600 where he kept the only two horse carriages in the city. Perfectly located, extremely comfortable only surpassed by the outstanding service. Highly recommended

Highly recommend. Staff and hotel was amazing!

This hotel was just lovely and our suite exceeded expectations. Large room with super comfy bed and bedding, large and well supplied bathroom (thick Terry cloth robes, nice slippers in addition to the usual body wash, shampoo, and lotion) with a tub large enough for two. Very helpful staff and great breakfast included. We would stay in this hotel again if we have the opportunity.

This is a wonderful hotel, it is well located and easy to get everywhere. Their staff is amazing, they offer breakfast and there are different options. Everything that we tried was delicious! We would definitely will be back! There’s not a single thing to complain about. Our stay was amazing!

This is a jewel boutique hotel inside the Cartagena walled city. Amazingly beautiful. Friendly staff, always ready to be attentive to your needs. I will surely return when i visit Cartagena again.
